Survival tutorial: Survival in this modpack is pretty hard, not some nightmare disaster but it can be challenging. Use pyrotech book as your guide. First of all. Please avoid building long term houses made of flammable materials as this can prove to be Very bad idea because of many monsters that can set your house on fire and create cinders which will burn your house again and create feedback loop and destroy days worth of work. You can either go for bone tools or flint tools approach depending which is more abundant in your area. Every day if you wander out of your house, gun bandit from modern warfare can appear and can easily kill you if you don't run in opposite direction and avoid his bullets, there are also toroquest bandits in the woods which although much less deadly spawn in large numbers and can overwhelm you if you aren't prepared or/and have primitive weapons. You can wear their masks which you can get after you kill them to avoid further attacks. Beware of ice and fire dragons too if on continent. They can be ice dragons (on freezing biomes) and fire dragons on all others, both are extremely dangerous and can easily kill you if unprepared. If you hear/see one run far enough so you escape their attack range. Sea serpents are dangerous in oceans and together with other oceanic mobs mainly added by lycanite's mobs can turn oceans into hellish primordial soups and it isn't recommended to swim without a boat unless you have good reason to do so. You can avoid building process and go to quest to find a village, settle there and progress, but you have to make your own crops and if you loot, or hurt a villager, guards will charge at you possibly ending your miserable existence. You can increase reputation by helping to kill/ killing a mob, and give those ores to king to increase reputation and by other ways. If you plan to be completely on your own it is best idea to make house either from tough and inflammable materials or dig underground and call that your home. Self sufficiency from inside your house is also beneficial during lycanite's mobs rare events which can threaten your safety and food supplies. Rest of the things i hope you will be able to figure out yourself in creative and survival. You can be great explorer/adventurer to explore distant lands ahead of you, follow your dreams of being a super farmer, village's greatest ally and helper, be the great warrior that will defeat the dragons or be merciless thug that will suppress everything and everyone and kill everything that stands in your way of regional domination or perhaps be builder that will build wast structures and transform world with your building skills and innovations.
