Big Dig: Odyssey

Inspired by the Big Dig pack, this 1.16.5 is a light pack for nostalgia or for decoration and magic. The ores are heavy hence the name and are not all messed up like in some other packs or like if you made your own modpack.

Lightly configured, so you shouldn't have any items clogging up JEI. Some mods are customized, like only adding 1 mob (owls) where a mobpack would normally add 20. Mobs added by Alex's mobs are: orca, crocodile, capuchin monkey, and lobster.
When you start off, you are given two rings (by the mod). You can choose whether or not to wear them. If you choose the Ring of the Seven Curses, it stays on you forever.
A new tree-chopping mod was added for more realism chopping trees. The pack has a custom ore config, which means no duplicate ores. Like Big Dig, the ore veins are much bigger! Ain't nobody got time for that.
Otherwise enjoy the mods, we have my personal mod scythes here, and waiting on other mods like Thaumcraft to come out to add later. We might consider adding Create sometime far down the line, but otherwise will update the modpack from time to time.
This is an example of the world and the biomes you'll get. You'll start with an (unlocked) Builder Gadget and clock, as well as two Enigmatic Legacy default starting items, so you can build your house right off the bat!
The world time has been reduced so days are lengthened. Vanilla Tools only adds iron, gold, and diamond hammers and excavators. It doesn't add unusual ones like Bone.
Mobs weren't added to kill you, also. Iron Furnaces only adds iron furnace, and it's double as fast as a furnace. The world is like Earth, and has warm areas near the equator and colder areas up North. Try to get from one pole to the other!

In the pack we have mainly Thermal Expansion and Immersive Engineering for tech mods. Not too many were added to encourage being clever with building.
