Introduction
As We Trailblaze is a large-scale Minecraft modpack for NeoForge 1.21.1, set in the universe of Honkai: Star Rail and featuring a wide variety of gameplay styles. The modpack is currently under active development, with its full gameplay experience being released progressively through future updates.
Main Gameplay
The modpack is centered around exploration and progression, combining vanilla Minecraft content with technology and automation, world exploration, adventure, survival, farming, and more. Players can choose different progression paths based on their interests, gradually advancing through exploration, resource gathering, automated production, and the creation of more advanced equipment and machinery.
Quest System
The current version contains 3,000+ quests, with more expected to be added, along with tens of thousands of Chinese characters of quest guidance and extensive custom recipes and progression changes. These systems are designed to help players understand the relationships between different mods and the recommended progression paths.
The overall goal is to preserve Minecraft's freedom of exploration while providing a clear sense of progression. At the same time, the pack aims to retain the depth and technical nature of its technology progression, avoiding a situation where the adventure progression simply becomes a cosmetic or stat-based add-on.
Guidebook & Collection
The quest book includes an extensive in-game encyclopedia and collection system, helping players understand the mechanics and content of the pack while adding greater depth to exploration. It also serves as a practical guide for players who are new to the mods included in the pack.
Core Mods
Technology: The technology progression is centered around Mekanism and its addons, with Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Oritech, and other technology mods integrated into the progression. The technology questline is currently the most complete part of the pack.
Adventure: The adventure progression is primarily built around the latest Advent of Ascension (AoA3) version for Minecraft 1.21.1. At present, only its equipment and weapons are documented in the pack; dedicated adventure quests have not yet been written.
Farming: The farming progression is primarily based on Flavor Immersed Daily, supplemented by Kaleidoscope: Cookery and its addons. At present, only food and recipe content has been documented.
