Version 2.0.0: Performance & Maintenance Update

Welcome to Version 2.0.0 of Arcane Circuitry! This update focuses entirely on streamlining performance, cleaning up mod redundancies, and ensuring a smooth, error-free progression.

Following internal playtesting and a thorough review of our modlist, we have optimized the pack by removing overlapping features and updating existing mods. The quest book has been carefully cleaned up to ensure that all chapters remain fully functional and intuitive.

🗑️ Performance Optimizations & Mod Cleanups

To improve client-side FPS and server-side stability (TPS), we have pruned 54 redundant mods from the pack. Instead of having multiple mods trying to achieve the same things, we consolidated our systems:

• Streamlined World Gen: Overlapping structure and cave-generation mods have been removed to reduce chunk-loading stutter and world-gen lag, keeping our world clean yet exciting.
• Pruned Tech & Magic Redundancies: Duplicate automation tools, overlapping technical add-ons, and redundant enchantment mechanics were cleared out to keep progression paths clear and focused.
• Cosmetic & UI Declutter: Excess decorative and client-side visualization mods were removed to free up valuable system memory, significantly boosting frame rates on lower-end setups.
• API & Backend Housekeeping: Unused or duplicate developer libraries and configuration APIs have been removed to minimize the pack's overall memory footprint.

🔄 Mod Updates

Dozens of core mods, performance libraries, and backend APIs have been updated to their latest stable releases. This ensures maximum compatibility, resolves several engine-level bugs, and improves general game stability in both singleplayer and multiplayer.

📝 Quest Book Maintenance

With the removal of the redundant mods, we have performed a targeted cleanup of the quest lines:

• No Dead Ends: All quest nodes, item requirements, and reward tables have been adjusted.
• Clean Progression: Any broken references or empty tasks left behind by the removed mods have been completely resolved, ensuring that players will not encounter empty quests or progression blocks.
