Anomaly Protocol is a highly structured, horror-survival modpack centered around tracking, fighting, and capturing terrifying entities. Instead of standard survival, this pack forces you into the role of a containment operative tasked with securing a world overrun by anomalies.
The modpack features a completely customized UI with animated backgrounds, custom resource pack, and fully overhauled progression through a detailed quest system.
3 Progression Branches: Quests are divided into Tutorial (onboarding and base mechanics), Hunt (the main progression), and Utils (secondary repeatable/utility tasks that reward ammunition and more for anomaly kills).
20 Main Targets: The core endgame consists of 20 unique anomaly hunt quests.
Tiered Rewards: Quest rewards scale based on anomaly difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Hardcore). Rewards include high-tier firearms, resources, traps, and cybernetic implants.
Firearms & Ordnance: Access a modern arsenal of firearms, including rifles, machine guns, and tactical grenades.
Melee Weapons: Fully detailed modern melee weapons like tactical knives, bats, and functional modern shields.
Class System: Choose from 5 playable specialist classes at spawn, each with distinct starting items and passive perks.
Target Weakening & Trapping: For containment purposes, anomalies can be trapped using specific containment items once their health falls below 25% HP.
Anti-Despawn System: Captured entities placed inside containment cells are locked via a custom anti-despawn script, ensuring your laboratory remains populated.
Underground Facility: Spawn in a custom underground bunker equipped with fast elevators and 2 pre-built containment cells.
Modular Base Building: Use the Stonecutter on standard Stone Bricks to craft unique SCP-styled laboratory blocks to expand your facility.
Anomaly Tracker: Every player starts with a proximity radar that utilizes audio blips and text warnings to indicate how close or far an anomaly is within a 75-block radius. Can be upgraded via quests to show exact pathfinding.
Spyglass Bestiary: Scanning any hostile entity with a Spyglass automatically logs them into your Bestiary, revealing exact HP, damage, speed, drop tables and more.
Cybernetic Enhancements: Cyberware items allow you to replace body parts to permanently buff stats (HP, speed, damage). Over-augmenting requires the strategic use of long-lasting Immunosuppressants to prevent rejection.
Optimized Spawns: A custom spawning algorithm ensures high-tier anomalies spawn strictly according to their rarity, preventing world cluttering and maintaining performance.
Horror Structures: Exploration features beautiful biomes (mountains, dense forests) packed with custom horror-themed structures.
Parasitia: The Invasion an alien plague mutates creatures into parasitic horrors. Survive as the infection spreads and the world decays. Fight or be consumed!
