Almond

First off, this is a modpack that shares many mods with the Slightly Vanilla Flavored modpack and if you haven’t already, I’d heavily recommend you download and play that modpack as well, it is very fun!

Backstory:

This pack pretty much exists because I wanted a modpack that gave a bit more than most vanilla plus modpacks provide, well also maintaining the vanilla plus feeling of having mods that feel like they belong in the base-game.

Modpack Description:

Like I said in the backstory, this modpack aims to add more than other vanilla-plus modpacks like it, while maintaining a vanilla plus feeling, hence the name "Almond" (explained in the naming section). I also designed this modpack to complement certain mods I like playing with, such as create and mods from team abnormals. My goal is also to provide, or at some point provide, something for everyone of all play styles; currently though if you enjoy building complex machines with the power of create, or love adventuring and combat or love finding loot and fun new structures in the world, then you might just end up loving this modpack!

Naming:

The reason for the name “Almond” is because apparently almonds (specifically almond extract) have a very similar flavor to vanilla but with a nice added nutty flavor and I feel like knowing that, the name “Almond” pretty much describes the intention of this modpack perfectly (also because too many vanilla plus modpacks had the words “vanilla plus” in their name so moderators wouldn’t let me use the original name i had picked which was “Vanillaplus-ish”)

•Towers Of The Wild - adds many “Breath of the Wild” inspired towers to the world with loot and a waystone at the top

•Create - a super creative engineering mod that uses rotation rather than redstone
•Dynamic Surroundings - adds more sounds and effects to the game
•Blame - a helpful mod that tells you which mod exactly isn’t working correctly
•TrashSlot - adds a slot for deleting unwanted items
•Apotheosis - completely overhauls the current enchanting system

•Smooth Boot - makes it easier for your PC to boot up Minecraft

•Curious Elytra - allows you to have an elytra in your back slot instead of your chest plate slot
•Polymorph - allows you to choose which item to craft when two items have the same crafting recipe
•GUI Compass - allows you to see your compass in the GUI without holding it, as well as showing you your current coordinates
•Farmer's Delight - greatly adds to farming and cooking
•Scuba Gear - A craftable set of scuba gear for use underwater
•Just Enough Items (JEI) - shows you all items in the game and their crafting recipes right in your inventory
•RandomPatches - miscellaneous patches for Minecraft
•Artifacts - adds items you can put in your extra slots that provide different effects
•GUI Clock - allows you to see your clock in your GUI without actually holding it
•Neko's Enchanted Books - this is a wonderful little mod that gives a custom texture to enchanted books so they all feel unique
•Double Slabs - allows slabs to be used the way nature intended... vertically!
•Sound Filters - makes sounds a little more immersive
•The Undergarden - adds a whole new dimension that takes place directly underneath the overworld
•Wawla - an add-on for “Hwyla” that gives you more information about what you’re looking at
•Atmospheric - adds a couple new biomes
•HT’s TreeChop - adds realistic tree chopping mechanics without being overpowered
•HT’s TreePlant - automatically plants saplings when they hit the ground
•Personality - adds new animations and character related abilities (like sitting and crawling) to the game
•One Player Sleeping - makes it so only one player in a server has to sleep to change the time of day
