Ages of Twilight

WARNING: After this update, you will no longer be able to go through Nether portals until you craft and use a Seal of the Nether. I spend TONS of time developing this modpack, a download would be appreciated. Update 0.3: Ages of Twilight’s biggest update ever, adding 10 new mods, overhauling hundreds of recipes, making huge changes to progression, adding an in-game guidebook (currently unobtainable), adding 5 new bosses, cleaning up EMI, and adding a custom title screen. View the full changelog below: New mods: Fancy Menu Panoramica Wan’s Ancient Beasts Bosses of Mass Destruction EveryMole Atlas Additions Nether Remastered Galosphere Spellbooks Royal Variations Vertical Slab Compat Updated Mods: Almost all, but most notably Cataclysm, adding in a new boss, Scylla, and a new dungeon. Changes by mod: (I sorted them as best i could, i probably forgot some things though) Ars Nouveau All glyphs, ritual tablets, trinkets, and threads have new recipes Removed essences, most essences replaced with different items in recipes. Manipulation essence stays Magebloom Fiber can now be used in place of string for ALL recipes (except for wool)   Irons Spellbooks Added atlas additions and galosphere spellbooks for some new magic weapons, staves, and spellbooks (all with redone recipes) Augments are now removed from all loot and are craftable with an upgrade orb surrounded by 8 spellweave New item: Celestial Dust made with glowstone dust, arcane essence and amethyst dust. Used to craft divine pearls (old recipe is still there), celestial fragments and celestial spellweave All trinkets have new recipes Fireward ring removed from all loot Affinity Rings can now be worn as a Talent, allowing overleveling spells by 4 now if you sacrifice all your ring and talent slots Spellbook recipe changes   Cataclysm Some dungeons have switched up block pallets New dungeon the acropolis with new boss (best one yet) Scylla Lacrima is now found in deep one barters and replaces water essence Essence of the storm is used for a bunch of stuff. Dying ember is completely replaced with cinder essence You can now find pearls, sea glass shards, and thrasher teeth in acropolis loot. All Draugr variants now drop frozen bones and freezing flesh instead of bones and rotting flesh. Makes the frosted prison a great place to farm for ice runes. Being killed be the Ceraunus now gives the death message “<Player Name> faced the power of the storm” 8 Lightning in a Bottle can be crafted from Essence of the Storm   Artifacts Almost all recipes redone, and many items renamed Onion Rings are now actually rings   Emi Cleaned it up by removing disabled and unobtainable items as well as stuff like splash and lingering potions or spell scrolls over level one. Makes it a lot less cluttered.   FTB Quests Lots of new quests, lots of changed ones   Wan’s Ancient Beasts Added Straw Blocks replaced with quark’s Thatch   Mowzie’s Mobs Thatch Blocks replaced with quark’s Thatch   Fancymenu Added Replaced the big MINECRAFT text with custom AGES OF TWILIGHT text Splash text now is completely custom. There are some fun ones if you look! Changed the menu panorama   Create Zinc ore is gone, all zinc items are disabled, lead is now used in place of zinc in most recipes. Asurine now crushes into silver Crushed raw lead can now be washed for 9 lead nuggets and a 25% chance at gunpowder Crushed raw silver can similarly be washed with lead nuggets as the additional output All “bar” type blocks are now fan transparent   Minecraft All rails have new recipes New hopper recipe Reduced raw ore in mineshaft chests A bunch of entities were buffed Maps are now WAY cheaper   End Remastered Some eyes were switched around   Mining Master Removed Gem Forge   Nether Remastered Added Seal of the Nether is now required to get into the nether. It can be a bit of a pain to get requiring 4 gold ingots, an ender pearl, a witch pupil, a royal bone, a totem of undying, and a resonant scrap. Would love feedback on if this is too hard/easy   Royal variations Added Spiritual crown shard smelts into celestial dust   Patchouli New custom guidebook. Still a WIP and currently unobtainable. You can read what’s there and give feedback if you want.   Bosses of Mass Destruction Added Some boss loot changed Blazing Eye replaced by Nether Eye in recipes/loot   Alex’s Caves All limestone renamed to Primordial Limestone to not conflict with create’s limestone. Underzealots now sacrifice Creepers, turning them into Peepers, Frilled Sharks, turning them into Thrashers, and Allays, turning them into Vexes.   Supplementaries All farmers delight rope is now supplementaries rope (does not get rid of tomato vine functionality)   ‘Dustrial Decor Large Cursed Lantern renamed to Large Cupric Lantern Large Cursed Lantern is now crafted with 6 Iron Ingots and 3 Cupric Torches   Spelunkery Compression Blast Miner now requires a nuclear bomb instead of a dispenser. Slimes now eat Chicken Cuts   Caverns and Chasms Barometer can now be crafted with 4 copper and 1 redstone, replacing supplementaries altimeter Depth Gauge can now be crafted with 4 silver and 1 redstone   Quark Iron Rod and Crafter now require iron sheets instead of ingots Vertical Slabs for all Slabs   Sawmill Sawmill now requires an iron sheet instead of an ingot   Sophisticated Backpacks All backpacks have new recipes and were renamed (except for netherite backpack, which is currently unobtainable) Many upgrades have overhauled recipes.   This update got kinda out of hand. Because so much stuff got added, it doesn’t have much of a theme. Next update is going to add at least one of the following three mods: Enlightend, Enigmatic Legacy, or Malum Theme might be lore/curios/soul magic/end update I don’t really know yet. Maybe all of those. Alright you scrolled all the way to the bottom so here’s a secret: combining eight of the most powerful spellbooks around a book in the enchanting apparatus with tons of source gives you something special *wink*
