0.9 Vibrant Void:

This is a medium sized update with two new bosses, some changes to late game progression, and a LOT of lore. It also completely overhauls the end generation in a way you might not have seen before :) Huge shoutout to RizzlessSunTsu whose feedback shaped this update.

Quests and lore

Changed the end poem to now drop a ton of lore and reveal how to REALLY beat the modpack

Changed the color of the text in some of the story quests

Added 3 new quests to the “story” questline

Changed up the introduction chapter

Added a magic quest about the lore of magic

Recipes

Changed the recipes for the following items: Pearlescent ingot, enderitium ingot, celestium ingot

Enderitium now counts as a netherite-tier tool in recipes

Annihilator armor now counts as aetherium-tier armor in recipes

Ignitium can now be upgraded into hellstone

Readded spectrillium, which is now crafted from ectoplasm, lesser soul gems, and raw spectrillium, which is made by haunting hellstone fragments

Spectrillium is at the same place as hellstone in the armor progression

Fixed the dark metal armor to hellstone armor recipes

Ignitium elytra chestplate now counts as an ignitium chestplate in recipes

Bone reptile armor can now be upgraded to celestium

Removed the recipe for lightning spellweave ingot

Translations and info

Added names for nullscape’s biomes

Added name for poison resistance from mowzies mobs

Seasonings now display their effect on the tooltip

Seasoned items now display their effect on the tooltip

Mining master’s gems now display their enchantments on the tooltip when holding shift

Loot

Witch pupils now drop WAY more commonly and are affected by looting (you can reliably get 2 per witch at looting III)

Lightning spellweave ingots now drop from chesed (50% chance of 3, 25% chance of 4, 25% chance of 5)

Worldgen

Replaced certain blocks in the end to make nullscape’s generation make sense: Blackstone, basalt, coral, glowstone, amethyst block.

Replaced dimensional tears in the void cathedral with obsidian (could cause nightwarden to teleport to spawn)

Progression

Fallen chaos knights, skeleton thrashers, boulders, and whirls now only spawn after the player has entered the nether. Lightens up the early game a bit :)

Fixes

Fixed pufferfish seasoning not working correctly

(hopefully) used biome replacer to fix Alex’s Caves biomes appearing in the end

Removed void fog
