# Minecraft Academy 101 – v1.2.4

A small content and quality-of-life update focused on better onboarding, mod transparency and a few useful gameplay improvements.

## New Mods

- Added **Accelerated Decay** – leaves disappear much faster after a tree is cut down.
- Added **Lighty** – helps identify dark areas where hostile mobs can spawn.

## New Mod Guide

- Added a new **Mods in This Pack** information quest to the *Before You Begin* section.
- The guide explains what the player-facing mods in Academy 101 do.
- Mods are separated into:
  - **Gameplay Mods**
  - **Performance & Background Mods**
  - **Technical Libraries & Dependencies**
- Added a **Mod Changes by Version** section so players can easily see which mods were added or removed in newer Academy 101 releases.
- Mod lists are alphabetically organized for easier reading.
- The guide is available across all supported Academy 101 languages and regional variants.

## Welcome Popup Fix

- Fixed the **“Don’t show again”** option on the welcome popup.
- The setting is now **world-specific** instead of applying to the entire Minecraft profile.
- Choosing “Don’t show again” will hide the popup only for that world.
- Creating or opening another world will still show the welcome popup normally.

## Localization & UI Improvements

- Improved wording and organization in the new mod guide.
- Fixed formatting issues caused by special characters in some languages.
- Updated the mod guide layout for better readability across multiple pages.
- Technical dependencies are now shown in a more compact format.

## Maintenance

- Updated the modpack manifest and mod list.
- Academy 101 now contains **42 mods**.
- Various small consistency and configuration improvements.
