ZV-Houses 1.1.12 — stone tiering, corrected
Fixed
- Stone slabs are tiered by how they are made, not by their shape. A slab cut from a block you mine as-is — cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, cobbled deepslate, andesite, granite, diorite, tuff — no longer counts as refined stone in a blueprint. Refining is the step that costs something: a stone slab still counts, because stone itself comes out of a furnace. Nine of the 26 houses have a refined-slab cell, and they were previously fillable with the cheapest slab in the game.
- Raw stone cells take solid blocks only. They designate solid blocks, and the house is built from what you deposit, so a slab or a stair left holes in walls and floors. Those cells now accept full blocks, as they were always meant to.
- Grey wall cells still take every wall they list, including cobblestone, andesite, diorite and cobbled deepslate walls. That family is about colour, not cost.
- The build's parts list was missing every stair and chair — 826 of them across 22 houses — because of a text-matching slip in the tool that generates it. Nothing you are charged for has changed; the list simply now shows everything the build provides.
Under the hood
- 53 automated in-game tests, each proven capable of failing before it was trusted.
- The tiering rule was checked against Minecraft's own recipes rather than assumed.

- No other mods required. ZV-Houses runs standalone; installing ZombieVillage adds villagers who build these houses for you.
Migration notes
- Existing worlds, placed stations and finished houses are unaffected.
- Materials already deposited in a station stay valid and still complete that build, even if the new rules would not accept them today. Only new deposits follow the new rules.
