Description
Celestial Reforging — 1.5.4
Offensive powers now target ordinary creatures, including horses and owned animals, without requiring a prior click or hostile tag. Actual damage still respects armor, shields and invulnerability. Self, cosmetic helpers and protected players remain safe. The Ender Dragon uses its real head damage route. All 13 ultimates are checked against unmarked horses through decoded ultimate input; 79 vanilla mob classes pass the actual equipped-power damage check.
Aurelion is available as a first monster choice. Earn its quest to transform. Its four forms now emphasize a large central eye, nested eye-lined rings and broad feather fans in gold, sapphire and white. All stages receive 567 articulated and look-direction clearance samples, including the central eye and crouching gap. Flight remains temporary; later powers and evolutions stay earned.
Quest elites and evolved guardians have independent hostile bodies, actual central collision shapes and their own three attacks. Health phases add two- and three-beat combos with fixed visible warnings for each strike. Opening a shield interrupts attacks for a full damage window. Ironhide needs a real collision with the anvil to expose its core.
All 39 material sites now have enclosed cultivation halls, unique roofs, framed walls, side buildings, workshops and solid terrain foundations. All 13 realms have monster-specific citadels, long supported bridges, buttresses and layered rocky surroundings. New realms use wider separated plots. New material searches use design version 6; old buildings, player edits and protected wards stay intact.
Player powers use thicker opaque physical weapons, water bowls and waves, flame shells, feathers, prisms and gold rune bands. Each monster keeps its own domain shape and attack behavior. Fifty-two original Ogg sound cues give every species its own casts, heavy attacks, ultimate and impact audio.
The compact damage numbers, target health, kill notices and slim ability strip remain. Full descriptions and pictured crafting recipes stay in the searchable guide. Destructive powers retain bounded block work and grouped normal-stack pickups, while monster buildings and trial realms remain protected.
Earn your monster. Build its skill tree. Evolve its body.
ZENIX Monster Path is a custom Minecraft Java 1.20.1 Forge mod with 13 original creatures, 52 transformation bodies and 155 custom items. Start human, choose your own path and earn an original monster through biome exploration, renewable farming, an elite battle and a shrine puzzle. Level its powers and evolve through four distinct bodies. Each player chooses independently, and every monster keeps its own progression when you complete a later Rebinding Ritual.
Creatures include storm predators, abyssal beasts, crystal revenants, living root guardians and the many-eyed celestial Aurelion. Each has basic and heavy attacks, colored powers, a skill tree, different evolution sizes and a final ultimate. Y toggles your unlocked chosen monster and human body after standing still outside combat. Put the books away to attack: empty-hand left click for basic, right click for heavy. Learn and equip active powers as you progress.
Detailed irises sit inside matching eye sockets and shaped lids. Slit pupils, compound insect lenses, ember eyes and spectral eyes suit each creature; Aurelion's sapphire eyes are fitted into gold rings and white feathers.
Ascendant domains and smooth combat
Every final ultimate claims a distinct 26–32-block-radius domain. Its sky, boundary and surrounding spell architecture transform with storm clouds, an abyssal vault, prism cathedral, caldera, nightmare court, siege citadel, ice kingdom, forest, lunar eclipse, sand empire, resonance chamber, poison hive or celestial court. The temporary spell structures retract and the sky returns when the ultimate ends. Each domain has stronger, different real attacks and described damage.
Aurelion’s smite rises 80 blocks high over a fixed 12-block-radius judgment circle, targeted up to 40 blocks away. Giant engraved celestial seals and wings frame the widened white-blue beam. Its 1.6-second warning can be dodged; the strike deals 36 HP followed by four 9-HP pulses before armor and resistance.
Attacks have eased anticipation, impact and recovery. Walking follows movement; posture and wing transitions blend smoothly. The combat HUD stays small: actual power keys, costs and cooldowns, health/energy, temporary target health and short route directions. A searchable Powers screen explains every power, passive, mouse attack and domain, plus exact unlock conditions and Learn/Equip actions.
Offensive skills and heavy attacks can break up to 128 ordinary blocks per whole cast; ultimates up to 1,536, with at most 128 breaks per tick. Bedrock, protected ZENIX progression stations, spawn permissions and canceled land-claim events are respected. Server owners can disable ability destruction with mobGriefing.
While transformed, monsters cannot mine normally. Use Y to become human; right-click material harvesting and workstations remain usable. Basic attacks remain non-destructive.
Detailed buildings and easier navigation
Signature, regional and final materials live at separately named, differently built sites. Their architecture includes grottos, cloisters, foundries, pyramids, observatories, root halls and celestial courts. Locate runs a background survey, constructs a safe actual site and saves a waypoint with direction, distance, coordinates and dimension. Paid Forge travel costs six Soul Shards and an Empty Sigil; its gold return gate brings you home free.
Each creature has its own visual identity across materials, propagules, growing beds, guardian trophies and refined catalysts. Lightning shapes, shells, mirror frames, volcanic vents, masks, riveted armor, antlers, roots, moth wings, toothed jaws, bells, stingers and celestial eyes distinguish their collections. The 39 material sites and 13 trial buildings use separate layouts with rooms, trim, gardens and accessible ritual stations.
Two separate books
The normal Monster Guidebook explains Journey, Monsters, Powers, Evolve, Travel and Items. Searchable selection lists open the creature, item or chapter you need directly. Recipe pages show item icons, exact arrangements and inventory requirements. The separate Monster Test Codex can be crafted, but only Creative players can use it to test bodies, powers, buildings, farming and encounters. Ending a temporary test restores your original monster progress and removes marked test supplies. Creative world edits remain.
Materials are earned
Raw materials, propagules, guardian hearts and Soul Shards have no crafting recipes. Farm the correct biomes, read lore tablets and defeat encounters. Useful finished tools, books, cultivation beds, catalysts and ritual blocks are craftable. Higher material tiers give fewer materials per harvest and take longer to regrow.
Requires Minecraft Java 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10 and Java 17. No extra mod dependencies. Install the same mod version on every client and the multiplayer server. Existing creature progress and older buildings remain; new Locate requests find updated sites instead of rebuilding over player edits.
Automated mechanic checks and actual renderer captures are documented in the release audit. Survival difficulty and multiplayer balance still need playtesting.
