YSM-Enhancements

YSM Enhancements is a client-side add-on for YSM 2.6.5, improving model controls, keyboard interaction, and everyday usability while fixing input and interface issues.

The optional Z button panel provides an alternative to the original radial menu. It uses the model author’s existing menus, categories, parameters, and actions, with support for pagination and scrolling.

• Interactive model preview: Drag to rotate, zoom with the mouse wheel or buttons, and reset the preview’s view and zoom.
• Direct parameter entry: Click slider values to type a number, press Enter to confirm or Esc to cancel, and use Tab and arrow keys for keyboard navigation.
• Clear navigation and controls: Submenu indicators, toggle states, and option selection markers make model settings easier to follow.
• Individual configuration: Enable or disable the button panel and each fix through the Mods configuration screen. All options are enabled by default. Compared with official YSM 2.6.5, this add-on fixes:
• Stuck input states after switching windows, opening screens, or releasing keys.
• Animation-lock shortcuts triggering without the required modifiers or outside the intended gameplay context.
• Mouse-bound shortcuts failing to trigger.
• Hidden controls responding to clicks outside the visible scroll area.
• Scroll arrows displaying an incorrect availability state.
• Incorrect parsing of values written in scientific notation.
• Incorrect initial scale slider displays when a model defines an explicit fallback value.
• Negative nonzero toggle values appearing unchecked.
• Search fields losing their caret, selection, or text position.
• Delayed callbacks adding outdated or overlapping controls. Supported configurations:

• Minecraft 1.21.1 — NeoForge 21.1.x — YSM 2.6.5 NeoForge To install, keep the matching official YSM version installed and place the YSM Enhancements JAR in your instance’s mods folder. Install this add-on on the client only. Configure it through Mods → YSM Enhancements → Config. Disabling the button panel restores the original radial menu while keeping the other fixes available.

The panel’s fixed interface labels are currently in Chinese; model-provided labels use the model’s own translations. Full in-game visual verification in a complete modpack is still pending.
