Worldify

A full release of a challenge mod made in just 10 hours; adds skills and additional enchants.

Worldify

Worldify was originally a challenge mod made in just 10 hours (this being the 0.1.0 alpha release). I have since expanded upon it greatly and intend on adding more features as the time goes on. At the final update I intend on releasing each major feature as its own mod, for those who want to use them independently. As it stands, it contains one primary feature and a few miscellanious changes and additions. The primary feature being:

Skills

Skills are unique stats that increase by doing some specific action add buff said action. Skills include: Attack, Mining, Woodcutting, Invention, Vitality, and Agriculture. Following is a rundown on each skill. Note that most technical explanations will require a basic understanding of algebra.

Attack

Attack is increased by dealing damage to any creature. Increases attack per level.

Perks

Level 10 -  Scaling sweeping damage ratio.

Level 20 - Chance for additional crit.

Level 30 - Chance for lifesteal.

Level 40 - 2 block reach extension while holding any melee weapon.

Level 50 - Scaling reduced attack cooldown.

Technical Explanations

Variable definitions:
A = Attack Level
d = Damage dealt

Base Scaling:
Attack damage is scaled with an addition of [A/10], meaning the player's base attack value (1) gets an additional tenth of the player's attack level added on. One attack is half a heart.
ie. If A = 5, then attack value = 1.5.

Level 10 Sweeping Damage Scaling:
Sweeping damage ratio is the percentage amount of the player's base attack transferred in the sweep of swords. This is increased by [A/100], meaning the player's sweeping damage ratio is set to one hundredth of the player's attack level.
ie. If A = 5, then sweeping damage ratio = 0.05 (5% transfer).

Level 20 Additional Crit Chance:
Additional Crit chance is a chance to deal an additional non-Minecraft crit. This crit does not need a jump and can be triggered at any point. It's indicated with an evoker fangs attack sound and spark particle. 
It increases damage by an additional [d(A/10)] with a chance of [(A - 19) in 100].
ie. If A = 20 and damage = 1, then total damage = 3 with a chance of 1%.

Level 30 Chance for Lifesteal:
Lifesteal gives you a percentage of the player's damage back as life. It's indicated with an evoker spell cast sound and star particle. It gives back the player [d((A-29)/10)] clamped below 5 with a chance of [A in 100], meaning the player gets a their damage times hundredth of half of the attack level that lifesteal is unlocked at, and it cannot exceed +5hp.
ie. If A = 30 and damage = 5, then health gained = 0.1 with a chance of 30%.

Level 40 2 Block Reach Extension:
Grants a 2 block reach extension when holding any item tagged with "c:tools/melee_weapon."

Level 50 Reduced Attack Cooldown Scaling:
Attack speed is scaled with an additional [A/50] while holding any melee weapon, meaning the player's base attack cooldown (4) gets an additional 50th of the player's attack level added on.
ie. If A = 75, then attack speed = 5.5.

 

Mining

Mining is increased by mining specific blocks. Increases block break speed with mining tools per level.

Perks

Level 10 - Additional base experience from mining.

Level 20 - 1 additional fortune level.

Level 30 - 2 block reach extension while holding any mining tool.

Level 40 - Scaling fortune level.

Technical Explanations

Variable definitions:
M = Mining Level

Base Scaling:
Base block break speed is scaled with an addition of [M/10], meaning the player's base block break speed value (1) gets an additional tenth of the player's mining level added on.
ie. If M = 5, then block break speed value = 1.5.

Level 10 Additional Base Experience:
All ores drop 1 to 3 additional experience with values of [(M/2)-1] to [(M/2)+1], meaning an ore can drop up to three times the player's mining level of experience, plus or minus 1.
ie. If M = 10, then experience orbs with the values of 4 to 6 can spawn up to three times.

Level 20 Additional Fortune Level:
This single additional fortune level has a 50% chance to spawn 1 additional drop from any mined ore.

Level 30 2 Block Reach Extension:
Grants a 2 block reach extension when holding any item tagged with "minecraft:pickaxes" or "minecraft:shovels."

Level 40 Scaling Fortune Level:
Additional Fortune is an additional non-vanilla bonus that has a chance to spawn an additional [((M-39)/2)-2] to [((M-39)/2)+2] (rounded), meaning an ore can drop up to half the player's mining level starting at the point the perk is unlocked, plus or minus 2.

 

Woodcutting (Perks not released)

Woodcutting is increased by cutting wood. Increases block break speed with woodcutting tools per level.

Technical Explanations

Variable Definitions:
W = Woodcutting Level

Base Scaling:
Base block break speed is scaled with an addition of [W/10], meaning the player's base block break speed value (1) gets an additional tenth of the player's woodcutting level added on.
ie. If W = 5, then block break speed value = 1.5.

 

Invention (Perks not released)

Invention is increased by crafting.

 

Vitality (Perks not released)

Vitality is increased by taking damage. Increases base armor value and max health per level.

Technical Explanations

Variable Definitions:
V = Vitality Level

Base Scaling:
Armor is scaled with an addition of [V/4], meaning the player gains base armor of a fourth of their vitality level.
Max health is scaled with an addition of [V/10], meaning the player's base max health (20) gets an additional tenth of the player's vitality level added on.
ie. if V = 10, then armor = 2.5 and vitality = 21

 

Agriculture

Agriculture is increased by eating quality food and farming. Increases drops from crops.

Perks

Level 10 - 3x3 tilling.

Level 20 - 3x3 planting.

Level 20 - Apply increased drops to special crops.

Level 30 - 3x3 harvesting.

*Level 30 - Instant use consumables.

Level 40 - 3x3 bonemealing.

Level 40 - 3x3 perks no longer consume extra.

*Level 40 - Consumables no longer have a cooldown.

*Requires Artifacts mod

Technical Explanations

 

Variable Definitions:
α = Agriculture Level

Base Scaling:
Crops have a [α in 100] to drop 1 to 3 (50% weighting towards 1) of each item in their loot tables.
ie. if α = 10 and the crop is potatoes, then there is a 10% chance to drop up to 3 additional potatoes.

Level 10 3x3 Tilling:
Hoes can now till soil in a 3x3x3 area. (Crouch to disable).

Level 20 3x3 Planting:
Seeds can now be planted in a 3x3x3 area. (Crouch to disable).

Level 20 Apply Increased Drops to Special Crops:
Wheat, pumpkin, sugarcane, and cactus now have a [α in 100] to drop double.

Level 30 3x3 Harvesting:
Hoes can now harvest fully grown crops in a 3x3x3 area. (Crouch to disable).

Level 30 Instant Use Consumables:
Uses Artifacts' eating speed and dirnking speed attributes to make all consumables instantly usable.

Level 40 3x3 Bonemealing:
Bonemeal is now applied to crops in a 3x3x3 area. (Crouch to disable).

Level 40 3x3 Perks No Longer Consume Extra:
All previous 3x3 perks no longer consume more durability or items than 1.

Level 40 Consumables No Longer Have a Cooldown:
Only enabled with Artifacts as no vanilla foods have cooldowns. Makes any consumables with a cooldown no longer have one.

 

Enchantments

Worldify adds several niche enchantments, below is a list of them and what they do.

Defusal

Defusal deals additional damage to creepers.

Fertilize

Fertilize makes all tilled soil start with the highest moisture.

Unbreakable

Unbreakable makes enchanted items unable to go below 5 durability.

Miscellaneous

Worldify also adds a few otherwise completely random features, below is a list of those.

Cake Stacking

Cakes can be stacked on top one another by right clicking on them with a full stomach.
