World Chronicles

Server-side Fabric mod that records world history, discoveries, player chronicles, and custom lore titles. English is now the default language, with Russian localization still available.

World Chronicles

World Chronicles is a server-side Fabric mod that turns your Minecraft world into a living chronicle. It is made for servers where player actions, discoveries, milestones, and stories should matter. Instead of being just another survival world, your server can slowly build its own history through recorded events, player chronicles, discoveries, and custom lore titles.

World Chronicles is designed for survival servers, private friend servers, roleplay-style worlds, vanilla-like servers, and small communities that want more identity and atmosphere without adding heavy gameplay mechanics. The mod does not require players to install anything on their client, because it works fully server-side.

The main idea of the mod is simple: the world remembers. Players can discover things, receive titles, become known for specific events, and slowly become part of the server’s shared history. This makes the world feel more alive and personal, especially on small servers where every player action can become part of the story.

World Chronicles includes a flexible player title system. Titles can be used as nicknames, roles, rewards, event markers, jokes, achievements, or lore-based identities. A player can be known as Fallen, Keeper, Founder, Listener, Archivist, Witness, Wanderer, or any custom title created by the server owner. Titles can have both a short form and a full form. For example, a title can be written as Keeper | Keeper of the Little Suns, where Keeper is the compact version and Keeper of the Little Suns is the longer lore-style version. This allows servers to keep chat readable while still using longer and more atmospheric titles in other places.

Server admins can create custom titles directly in-game. A basic custom title can be created with /chronicles title create <id> <short title> | <full title>. A colored custom title can be created with /chronicles title createcolor <id> <color> <short title> | <full title>. For example, /chronicles title createcolor flower_keeper gold Keeper | Keeper of the Little Suns creates a gold-colored custom title with both a short and full display form. Custom titles support spaces, colors, Unicode text, English text, Russian text, and custom server lore. Custom titles are saved in config/world-chronicles/custom-titles.properties, so they remain available after server restarts.

Admins can manage player titles with /chronicles admin give <player> <title_id>, /chronicles admin remove <player> <title_id>, /chronicles admin clear <player>, and /chronicles admin random <player>. Players can view and manage their own active title with /chronicles titles, /chronicles title set <id>, and /chronicles title clear.

World Chronicles also includes discovery and chronicle commands. Players can view discoveries with /chronicles discoveries and receive a chronicle book with /chronicles book. These features help turn server progress into something visible and memorable instead of letting important moments disappear after they happen.

The mod supports compact chat title formatting and longer lore-style title display. Chat can show a short title such as [Keeper] > hello, while the full title can remain available for player list or scoreboard-style display. This gives servers more control over how titles appear and helps prevent long titles from making chat messy.

English is the default language. Russian localization is also available and can be enabled in-game with /chronicles language ru. English can be selected again with /chronicles language en. Custom titles are preserved exactly as written and are not automatically translated, so server owners can freely use English, Russian, or any other supported Unicode text.

World Chronicles is especially useful for servers that want lightweight roleplay, remembered discoveries, custom achievements, server history, player identity, event-based nicknames, or personal legacy moments. It is not a heavy RPG system and does not try to replace survival gameplay. Instead, it adds a layer of memory, identity, and atmosphere on top of your existing world.

The mod also includes safer scoreboard and title display handling for servers using Geyser and Floodgate. This improves stability for Bedrock players joining through Floodgate and helps prevent scoreboard-related disconnects caused by title display updates. Title display errors should not prevent players from joining the server.

World Chronicles is fully server-side, making it suitable for private Fabric servers, small survival servers, friend group servers, roleplay-style servers, vanilla-like survival servers, and servers with Bedrock players joining through Geyser/Floodgate.

Example custom titles: Fallen | The First Fallen, Keeper | Keeper of the Little Suns, Listener | The One Who Heard Mining Without a Miner, Founder | Founder of the First Settlement, Archivist | A Name Preserved in the Records, Witness | Witness of the First Chronicle, Wanderer | Walker of Unknown Roads.

World Chronicles is made for servers where actions should matter and players should become part of the world’s memory. It gives your server a lightweight history system, custom player identity, and lore-friendly progression through chronicles and titles, while staying simple, server-side, and easy to use.
