Welcome To Womp's Wild Boars!
Want to spice up your world with a small and simple mod? Add some wild boars! These boars are no ordinary animals, as they will sniff for food, pick sweet berries off of bushes, and even destroy crops, all just to eat a meal. They come in two variants, though have a universal child appearance, so which boar you breed will be a mystery until they grow up!
Feel free to use this mod in modpacks on CurseForge!
๐ About the Wild Boars
| ๐ Diet | The boars will scavenge for food on the ground, eating cod, salmon, sweet berries, eggs, seeds, apples, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, mushrooms, and rabbit. However, they can only be bred with cod, salmon, sweet berries, apples, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot. |
| ๐ Behavior | The boars will walk and occasionally run around the world. When looking around, they may scratch their ears. When hungry, they will sniff the ground to occasionally find food, scavenge for food, pick sweet berries off of bushes, and even destroy crops to eat them. |
| ๐ฏ Prey | When hungry, the boars will hunt rabbits, frogs, and baby chickens. When attacked by anything, they will work in a group to take revenge. If a player approaches and they are with a baby, they will attack the player to protect the baby. |
| ๐ฅฉ Drops | When killed, boars drop a new type of meat: raw boar. This meat can be cooked into cooked boar, which restores 3.5 hunger points when consumed, though raw boar only restores 1.5 hunger points. |
| ๐ Variants | There are two types of wild boar: black boars and brown boars. Black boars have a 70% frequency, versus the brown boar 30% frequency. Boars may or may not have tusks, though having them is far more common. All babies look the same, with light and dark stripes. |
| ๐ Spawns | Wild boars spawn in a variety of locations. Boars spawn frequently and in large groups in regular forests, birch forests, spruce forests, and a bit less frequently in dark oak and snowy forests. They also rarely spawn in jungles and plains in small groups. |
