Wolfism
Wolfism expands Minecraft's wolves with 60 new wolf types to find, tame, raise, and bring along on your adventures.
Each wolf is more than a different texture. Different species have their own abilities, behaviors, preferred environments, strengths, and uses. Some are great fighters, some specialize in exploration or support, while others are designed around particular places or situations.
You might find wolves adapted to deserts, snowy regions, the Nether, the End, the Deep Dark, and many other parts of the world. Some wolves are powerful ranged fighters, some can protect or heal their family, some help with exploration, and a few are particularly useful against certain enemies and bosses.
Wolfism also includes a Wolf Staff for managing larger packs. It lets you give your wolves simple group commands such as Follow, Sit, Guard, Attack, and Recall, so collecting more wolves doesn't mean having to control every companion individually.
Wolves are designed to work together as a family. They recognize their owner and allied wolves, try to avoid harming one another with their abilities, and can react differently depending on what is happening around them.
There are also seven Holiday Wolves that appear during different times of the year. These seasonal wolves have their own themes, abilities, and taming methods. If you manage to tame one while its holiday is active, it stays with you permanently.
