Wizardry Spell Tweaker

Rebalance Electroblob's Wizardry spells from one small config file. Change a spell's mana cost, cooldown, charge-up time, tier, element, or where it can be obtained and used, without touching Wizardry or any of its add-ons. Works on spells from add-ons too.

Wizardry can already be configured this way, but it expects one file per spell with every field filled in. Miss one and the spell is rejected. Misspell a property and nothing happens, silently.

This mod gives you one file where you write only what you want to change:

Anything you leave out keeps its normal value, and deleting an entry puts that spell back to normal. Mistakes are reported in the log with the valid options listed, and a bad entry never half-applies.

Run /wst generate in game to write spell_reference.json, listing every spell it can change and its current values, ready to copy from.

Server only. Players connecting to your server do not need it. Edits apply on restart.

Notes

It writes into Wizardry's own spell config folder. If you have hand-edited files there, move those values into spell_overrides.json first, or they will be replaced.
Adding a charge-up time to a spell that has none, or removing one, changes how that spell is cast and can behave unexpectedly.
Tier and element change what Wizardry reads for wands, trades, loot and elemental bonuses. They do not change a spell's damage type, visuals or sounds.
