The wizard boss 0.5.6217_b includes:
- A wizard boss entity
- Three magic types: earth, water, and fire (more info below)
- A wizard hat that spawns the wizard boss upon right click
- A wizard hat that is dropped from witches sometimes (configurabily)
Some future updates to come include:
- More magic types such as: wind
- Wizard sounds
- Mod compatibility
The magic types that the wizard can do are as follows:
Earth:
This magic type places dirt blocks to try and suffocate you in a wall of dirt. If it doesn't suffocate you, then it will at least make it difficult for you to get to the wizard to strike him.
Fire:
This magic type places fire to light you on fire and make the land around you more hostile.
Water:
This magic type places a pool of water to try and drown you. If it doesn't drown you, then it will slow you down and make it harder for you to maneuver the land around you.
Wind:
This magic type does a random motion on the x and z axes that is supposed to simulate "wind"
Lightning:
This strikes down with a bolt of lightning
New features for 0.7.6517:
Magic Staff:
When you have the magic runes in your off hand and you right click with the magic staff in your main hand, the power of the magic rune will be performed.
Magic Rune Ores:
There are now naturally generating ores that you can find in the world. The places to find them are as follows:
Earth:
- Mesa
- Mesa Clear Rock
- Mesa Rock
Water:
- Ocean
- River
- Beach
- Stone Beach
Fire:
