🌍 WILD EARTH – Real Animals for Minecraft

Wild Earth brings 10 real-world animals into Minecraft, each with smooth animations, real-life behaviors, and their own homes in the world. Tame every animal, ride orcas and giraffes, and craft gear from the things they leave behind!

🌊 OCEAN & SHORE

🐋 Orca – Travels in pods through the oceans and leaps out of the water. Hunts fish, penguins, seals and sea otters that are in the water. Only fights players who attack it.

🐧 Emperor Penguin – Waddles around snowy beaches and ice spikes, flaps its flippers, slides on its belly when running away, and zooms through the water. Babies are fluffy grey chicks.

🦦 Sea Otter – Floats on its back and cracks shells on its chest. Found on beaches, stony shores and rivers.

🦭 Harbor Seal – Scoots along cold shores, rests in the "banana pose" with its head and tail raised, and swims fast.

🌿 SWAMPS & JUNGLES

🐊 Crocodile – Lurks in mangrove swamps with only its eyes and nostrils above the water. Stalks animals and players at the water's edge, then lunges with a death roll. Basks on the bank with its jaws open.

🦩 Flamingo – Gathers in flocks in swamps, rests on one leg, and feeds with its head down.

🐼 Red Panda – Lives in bamboo jungles. If you run at one, it rears up on its back legs with its arms spread, then runs away. Sneak up slowly or hold bamboo to stay friends.

🌾 SAVANNA & FOREST

🦒 Giraffe – Roams the savanna in herds, walking with its famous pacing gait and stretching up to nibble the treetops.

🦘 Kangaroo – Travels in big hops. Hit one and it rears back to box and kick!

🫎 Moose – Grazes in taiga forests. Peaceful, but if you hit one it lowers its antlers and charges. Bulls shed their antlers and grow new ones.

🤝 TAMING

Feed a wild animal its favorite food until hearts appear:
• Orca – cod or salmon
• Penguin, Sea Otter, Seal, Flamingo – fish
• Red Panda – bamboo or sweet berries
• Moose, Kangaroo – wheat
• Giraffe – apples
• Crocodile – raw meat

Right-click your pet with an empty hand to make it stay or follow. Feed a hurt pet to heal it, or feed two pets to get a baby that's tamed too. Tamed moose, kangaroos, orcas and crocodiles protect you from anything that attacks you!

🐎 RIDING

Put a saddle or a Safari Saddle on your tamed orca or giraffe and right-click it with an empty hand to ride:
• Orca – look where you want to swim. You can breathe underwater while riding, and swimming near your orca gives you Dolphin's Grace.
• Giraffe – see over everything from way up high!
Press Shift to get off.

🛠️ ANIMAL ITEMS & CRAFTING

Every animal has its own item. Penguins, sea otters, red pandas, flamingos and crocodiles shed theirs naturally, and bull moose drop their antlers, so you don't have to hurt them. All animals also drop their item when killed.

• Orca Tooth → Orca Whistle: calls all your pets to you
• Penguin Feather → Snow Boots: run fast on snow and ice, and walk on powder snow
• Otter Fur → Otter Fur Cap: see clearly underwater
• Kangaroo Hide → Hopper Leggings: jump higher and take less fall damage
• Crocodile Scute → Crocodile Chestplate: strong armor that helps you swim faster
• Giraffe Hide → Safari Saddle: ride your orcas and giraffes
• Moose Antler → Antler Trophy: a wall decoration
• Red Panda Fur → Red Panda Rug: a striped carpet
• Seal Blubber → Blubber Lantern: a warm orange light (blubber is also great furnace fuel)
• Flamingo Feather → Flamingo Arrows: fly farther and straighter, with a pink trail

Wear the Otter Fur Cap, Crocodile Chestplate, Hopper Leggings and Snow Boots together for the full Wild Gear set!
