Beta — Minecraft Java 1.21.1 / Fabric / Java 21. Requires Fabric API on client and server.

New in this beta

• Updated all three animals and all four forms: twelve models in one fantasy style.
• Broader body planes, square beveled paws, short claws, stepped fur locks and shoulder lightning marks.
• Dog: broader head and build, shorter ears and a smaller plume.
• Cat: compact body, short muzzle, pink nose, narrower tail and six volumetric whiskers.
• Fox: larger curled plume and taller ears.
• Crisp Base, Storm, Grove and Crystal palettes with their existing gameplay effects.
• A small head dip during farm work and a quieter head/tail pose while recovering.

Verified in Minecraft

• 12 models and 48 paw contacts validated.
• 20 core checks and 32 baseline real-client checks passed.
• Eight genuine activities per species: follow, stay, farm, defense, retreat, cave exploration, fetch/affection and downed state.
• Real harvest/replant, milestone unlocks, electric attack cooldown, night vision and physical ball return without duplication.
• Low-health pets stop combat and cannot be forced to keep attacking.
• Save/restart preserves the pet, owner, waiting anchor and duplicate-egg protection.

Installation

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 0.16.14+, Java 21 and Fabric API (tested with 0.116.6+1.21.1). Replace an older Wildbond JAR; do not keep two versions together. This is not a Forge, NeoForge or Bedrock build.

Known beta limits

Upper-tail and small cheek/collar details are still being refined. Milestone progression is implemented; a separate story/NPC quest system is not. Dedicated-server farm automation is off by default and requires administrator opt-in on the supported minimal Fabric/Fabric API setup; third-party protection mods are not supported. Automatic travel between dimensions is not implemented. Testing used an integrated server, not a public-server load benchmark.

Everything is free, without purchases, subscriptions, account login or inference services during play.
