Whips & Giggles

Whip: The whip gives you some room to fight, reaching out to strike mobs before they get too close. Crafted with four string and one stick, it can hit mobs up to 4.75 blocks away. Left-click to attack, or hold right-click and release to charge a stronger attack.

A fully charged attack deals 6 damage, or 3 hearts. The whip can be repaired with string.

The whip can carry vanilla weapon and durability enchantments, along with three new enchantments added by the mod. The new enchantments can be obtained through enchanting tables, enchanted loot, and villager trades.

• Grappling - Pulls mobs toward you or lets you grapple onto blocks.
• Piercing I–III - Allows each attack to hit one additional mob per level.
• Reach I–III - Increases attack and grappling range by 3 blocks per level.

Grappling and Piercing are incompatible with each other. Reach can be combined with either.

Block Grappling: Take hold of the terrain with your whip and pull yourself toward higher ground. Fully charge a right-click attack and hit a block to attach the whip to it. The whip then pulls you toward that block.

Sneak or right-click again to detach. Reach also increases how far away you can grapple.

Piercing: A lash that carries through the first enemy can catch the ones behind it too. Each level allows the whip to hit one additional mob along its path. Piercing III can hit up to four mobs with a single attack.

Incompatible with Grappling.
