WORK IN PROGRESS: Noble Phantasms is actively being developed for the 2026 CurseForge Echoes of the Past Modjam!

Noble Phantasms

Discover relics inspired by ancient Egypt, Norse legend, Arthurian myth, feudal Japan, and the Aztec world. These weapons, armor pieces, tools, and accessories introduce new ways to fight, travel, survive, gather resources, enchant equipment, and manipulate the world around you.

Mark enemies for judgement, charge into battle with a legendary lance, command animals with the regalia of a pharaoh, throw a spear that never misses its target, grow ore veins with a magical mallet, or accept a dangerous curse in exchange for twice the treasure.

Relics

Ancient Egypt

Relics of pharaohs, divine judgement, restoration, and the balance between life and death.

  • Khopesh of Ra (WIP): A powerful sword that can release fiery auras when charged with sunlight.

  • Heka: A royal crook that draws nearby animals toward its wielder. When held alongside Nekhakha, the pair can invoke Pharaoh's Decree, creating a protected court that heals animals while weakening and repelling enemies.

  • Nekhakha: Releases a fear pulse that drives nearby hostile mobs away for three seconds. Major bosses are immune. When held alongside Heka, the pair can invoke Pharaoh's Decree, creating a protected court that heals animals while weakening and repelling enemies.

  • Eye of Horus: A necklace. Focus your gaze on a living target for two seconds to place it under Judgement, causing it to glow and take 25 percent more damage for 15 seconds. Curios compatible.

  • Ankh (WIP): A charm that protects its bearer from death. Fatal damage instead restores the bearer to full health, releases a damaging and blinding radiant burst, and grants 15 seconds of invulnerability. The Ankh cannot activate again for two minutes. It can also occupy supported totem slots. Curios compatible.

  • Kheper Scarab: A charm that repairs every damaged item in the wearer's hands and armor slots by one durability every two seconds. Curios compatible.

  • Scales of Ma'at (WIP): Use the scales on a living target to set both your health percentages to their average. This can save an ally, drain an enemy, or harm a careless wielder. Bosses can lose no more than 10 percent of their maximum health per use.

  • Book of Thoth (WIP): Use the book on an enchanting table to reveal enchantment offers and reroll them in exchange for one Lapis Lazuli. Crouch and use the table with an empty hand to retrieve the book.

 Arthurian Legend

Relics of kingship, sacred oaths, immortal guardians, and the heroes of Camelot.

  • Excalibur (WIP): A powerful sword associated with the rightful ruler of Britain. Use the sword on enemies to smite them with the holy light of God.

  • The Scabbard: A belt that continuously restores health, healing faster as its wearer approaches death. It also prevents poison and wither. Curios compatible.

  • Carnwennan (WIP): A swift and powerful dagger once carried by King Arthur. Using this dagger while looking at a target allows the user to teleport behind him.

  • Rhongomyniad: Charge the legendary lance before releasing it to launch yourself into a high-speed joust. Greater charge produces a faster and longer rush. Impact damage scales with your speed relative to the target.

  • Bertilak: The axe of the Green Knight. Use on a mob for three seconds to bind it with a five minute Covenant. Bertilak cannot harm other targets while the Covenant is active, but it deals 50 percent more damage to the chosen opponent and executes ordinary enemies below 20 percent health. Fulfill the Covenant by killing the target to claim its head as a trophy. Crouch and use Bertilak to abandon the pact.

  • Trophy Heads: Covenant trophies preserve the creature's appearance, including many variants and baby forms. They can be worn, displayed on floors or walls, and placed above note blocks to imitate compatible creature sounds.

 Norse Legend

Relics of gods, curses, immense strength, limitless wealth, and the coming of Ragnarök.

  • Gungnir: Odin's spear functions as both a long-reaching melee weapon and a throwable projectile. Aim at a target before throwing to make Gungnir curve toward it. Charged throws partially bypass armor, devastate shields, and deal bonus damage to badly wounded targets. Compatible enchantments allow the spear to pierce enemies or return to its owner.

  • Gjallarhorn (WIP): A legendary horn whose call is destined to announce the beginning of Ragnarök. All enemies who hear the sound nearby are Feared for several seconds, and all allies are bolstered and buffed.

  • Huliðshjálmr (WIP): A highly durable helmet offering exceptional armor, toughness, and knockback resistance. Crouching allows the player to become fully invisible.

  • Andvaranaut: A cursed ring that doubles loot dropped by slain mobs, but also doubles all damage taken by its wearer. Curios compatible.

  • Draupnir: Generates gold nuggets, ingots, and occasionally entire blocks of gold every 30 seconds while carried. When equipped as a ring, it also causes piglins to treat its wearer as though they were wearing gold armor. Curios compatible.

  • Megingjörð: Thor's belt grants additional melee damage, powerful knockback, faster block breaking, improved movement through difficult terrain, and the strength to launch enemies upward with melee attacks. Curios compatible.

 Feudal Japan

Relics of imperial authority, supernatural craftsmanship, swift warriors, and legendary tools.

  • Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi: Use the sword to release an expanding wind cutter that damages everything in its path. While holding Kusanagi, double-tap a movement key to dash in that direction.

  • Kazaguruma: Throw the chained sickle up to 16 blocks. The first creature struck is hooked and dragged into melee range.

  • Uchide no Kozuchi: A miraculous mallet capable of collecting almost any block with Silk Touch behavior. Use it on vegetation to force full growth or on a natural ore block to grow several additional pieces of that ore. Created ore is marked as artificial and cannot be multiplied again.

  • Yamawari: An enormous axe that fells an entire connected tree when one of its logs is broken. It can process trees containing up to 256 connected logs.

 Aztec Legend

Relics of sacred warriors, ritual combat, and the power of the eagle.

  • Eagle Knight Talons: Armored boots that allow their wearer to crouch while falling and enter a rapid dive. Landing produces a shockwave whose damage increases with fall distance. The slam also prevents its own fall damage.
