What's new

Where the Sky Remembers — 1.0.2

  • Fixed old death markers appearing in newly recreated singleplayer worlds with the same folder name.

  • Added persistent world identities, allowing renamed saves to retain their death history.

  • Reworked death-star rendering for custom sky mods and shader packs.

  • Added automatic Iris/Oculus detection and a compatibility rendering pass for shader packs that discard custom sky textures.

  • Added starRenderMode options: AUTO, SKY, and AFTER_LEVEL.

  • Fixed render-state restoration and refreshed opacity textures on resource reload.

  • Added /wtsr importlegacy to recover older singleplayer records while preserving the original history.

  • Improved history-file saving and isolated unidentified multiplayer sessions.

Available for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge / Java 17 and Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge / Java 21.

Upgrade note: Older singleplayer records are preserved but are not imported automatically. Run /wtsr importlegacy only in the original world, before creating new markers there.

Compatibility note: Full in-game testing with Hysteria, ATMOSPHERICS, and Distant Horizons is still pending. The late rendering pass may differ in volumetric-cloud and Distant Horizons LOD occlusion.
