What's new
New Features & Hazards
Gas Explosions: Entering explosive gases (methane, hydrogen, natural gas, etc.) while holding a lit torch or carrying one in Hardcore mode will trigger an instant explosion. Dropping a lit torch into gas will also detonate it.
Flammable Fluid Ignition: Submerging into or dropping a lit torch into flammable liquids (crude oil, gasoline, diesel, fuel) no longer extinguishes the torch like water. Instead, it ignites the entity and lights the surface on fire.
Universal Mob Support: Mobs (zombies, skeletons) carrying lit torches in either hand are now affected by rain, snow, water, hazardous gases, and splash water bottles just like players.
Massive Mod Compatibility Out-of-the-Box: Pre-configured dictionaries with over 100+ fluids and gases supporting Industrial Upgrade, HBM's Nuclear Tech, Galacticraft, BuildCraft, Thermal Foundation, Immersive Engineering, PneumaticCraft, and more.
Fixes & Optimizations
Crash Fix (ConcurrentModificationException): Resolved server freeze and crash when multiple entities/blocks detonated simultaneously during a world tick.
Flowing Liquid Hitbox Detection: Replaced single-point coordinate checks with accurate AABB bounding box scanning, ensuring shallow and flowing fluids (like flowing oil) properly trigger hazard effects.
Code Refactoring & Performance: Implemented early-exit logic for entity scanning, reducing tick overhead to near-zero even in massive modpacks.
Infinite Explosion Loop Prevention: Torches now extinguish safely before explosion calculations occur.
Configuration & Customization
Configurable Potion Splash Radius: Added splashRadius setting (range 1–10 blocks) to control the area of effect for splash and lingering water bottles.
Explosion & Fire Toggles: Added toggles enableGasExplosions, enableFluidFires, and custom explosion power adjustment explosionStrength.
Separate Fluid Lists: Separated explosiveFluids (gases that explode) and flammableFluids (liquids that ignite) into custom string arrays in the config.
