Description
Wayfarer
A minimap and a full-screen world map, with waypoints you can see in the world. Everything stays on your side: no server mod needed.
What it does
- Minimap in the top right corner, north up, with the biome name and your coordinates. Zoom with
=and-, turn it off withF8. - World map on
M: drag to move, scroll to zoom, space to come back to yourself, right-click to drop a waypoint or, on one, to remove it. - Remembers what you have seen: the colours of every chunk you walked past are saved per world and dimension, so the map fills in as you explore.
- Waypoints with a name and a colour, shown on the minimap, on the map and as a beam with the name and distance in the world. A death waypoint is added when you die.
- Mob dots on the minimap: blue players, red monsters, green animals.
- Under a ceiling (the Nether, caves) the map shows the floor you walk on, not the roof.
/wayfarer add <name>,/wayfarer remove <name>and/wayfarer list.- Config
config/wayfarer.json:minimap,size,mobs,waypointsInWorld,scanRadius. Data lives in<game folder>/wayfarer/.
