War 'n Nobility - Changelog
1.1.0 (Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge)
The war-frame release. War 'n Nobility no longer touches the Antique Atlas at all: the atlas integration has moved out into its own standalone client mod, "Here Be Doodles", and this mod's map is the wall-mounted War Table.
-- CHANGED: the Antique Atlas integration is gone ------------------------
Earlier builds layered terrain, domain borders and an enlarged book onto the Antique Atlas 8 screen. That integration could leave the atlas looking blank, and it chained this mod's releases to a specific atlas version. It has been removed outright:
- The atlas is exactly what Antique Atlas draws, untouched. If your atlas looked empty with a previous build installed, this fixes it.
- Antique Atlas is no longer a dependency of any kind.
- Domain borders, colony markers and faction claims still render on the War Table board and its planning screen, exactly as before.
- Campaign drawing lives where it always did: the 6-frame War Table briefing map, with the optional Hundred Years War command layer on top.
Want to draw on the atlas itself? Install "Here Be Doodles" - the standalone doodle kit for Antique Atlas 8 (pen, line, arrow, box, circle, text, eraser, eight ink colours, undo, per-world saves). It needs nothing from this mod.
-- FIXED: your title did not update when you were promoted ----------------
Ascending a rank announced "<name> ascends to <rank>!" in chat, but your name tag kept the old "[rank]" prefix. NeoForge caches a player's decorated display name, so the above-head name tag -- and any chat mod that renders the cached name instead of routing through our own chat handler -- kept showing your former rank until you relogged. On a rank change that cached name is now cleared at once, so the prefix refreshes everywhere (name tag, tab list and chat) the moment you are promoted.
-- Also in this build (held work now shipping) ----------------------------
- Feudal war protection: neither wars nor besieges may target a colony whose owner outranks you (config-toggleable, from the held 1.0.7).
