VoxelCam 2.1.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Oversized screenshots are back. 2.0.0 shipped with Shift+F2 reporting that big screenshots were not supported; this release restores them.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3+, Fabric API
- Java 21, the runtime the Minecraft launcher already ships with (no launcher changes needed)
Big screenshots
Hold Shift and press F2 to capture a frame far larger than your window — a 4K or 8K wallpaper
from a 1080p game. The shot lands in your screenshots folder like any other and shows up in the
manager straight away.
Set the size with /bigscreenshot, or /bs for short. It takes:
- Presets —
hd,fhd,4k,8k, andimax(10000x7000, the old LiteLoader preset) - A multiple of your window —
2x,4x,8x. These keep your window's aspect ratio, so the shot is framed exactly like what is on screen - Exact dimensions —
3840x2160,1000x1000, anything you like
Run /bigscreenshot with no argument to see the current setting. The size lasts for the session and
is not written to a config file. Requests larger than your GPU allows are scaled down to fit, with
both dimensions reduced together so the framing is preserved, and the limit is reported in chat.
Your HUD setting is respected: whatever is on screen is what gets captured. Big screenshots are taken in-world only, with no menu open, and the game will pause noticeably while a very large image is read back and encoded.
Fixes
- The camera button on the title screen no longer stays fully opaque while the rest of the menu fades in.
