Void Recycler
A minimalist tech block for pack makers and builders who hate lag. Throw anything into the Void Recycler: it is destroyed instantly and turned into Resonance Points. Spend the points to fabricate any item that has a price, by hand or straight out of a pipe.
No ticking block entity, no polling, no mixins. Everything happens only when something is inserted or extracted.
Features
- Void and fabricate: insert = recycle, extract = fabricate. Works by hand and through hoppers and pipes (NeoForge item capability, fully transactional: a pipe that cannot place the items rolls the points back).
- Zero lag by design: the block has no ticker. All maths are O(1), the balance is a
longwith saturating arithmetic, and sounds and particles are throttled. - Data-driven economy: recycling values and fabrication prices are NeoForge data maps, synced to clients, with
#tagsupport. Modpack makers rebalance everything with a plain datapack. - Catalog GUI: a side panel with every fabricable item, paging, sorting (name / price) and an "only affordable" filter. Pick a target with one click.
- Upgrades: Resonance Amplifier (more recycling efficiency, up to 4) and Throughput Module (higher pipe extract cap, up to 4).
- Resonance Capsule: a portable battery. Carry points between blocks.
- Resonance Link: link several blocks to one shared pool per owner. Recycle in one place, fabricate in another.
- Statistics: hover the points card to see lifetime points, items recycled and fabricated, and your top 3 recycled items.
- Owner and access: lock the GUI to everyone, your team or only you. Redstone works as a kill-switch for pipes. Comparator output shows how many items you can afford.
- Auto-pricing command:
/voidrecycler generateprices every craftable item from its recipe, so a big modpack gets a full economy in minutes. - Safe by tags:
#void_recycler:never_recycleand#void_recycler:never_fabricatekeep dangerous or unobtainable items out. - Tech-minimalist dark GUI with neon cyan and orange highlights, animated counter and gain/spend feedback.
- JEI categories (Void Recycling, Void Fabrication) and an optional Jade tooltip.
- English and Russian translations.
Crafting
- Void Recycler: 5 obsidian, ender pearl, 2 diamonds, hopper.
- Resonance Amplifier: 4 amethyst shards, 4 redstone, diamond.
- Throughput Module: 4 iron ingots, 4 redstone, hopper.
- Resonance Capsule: 4 obsidian, ender pearl.

For modpack makers
Override or extend the economy from your own datapack:
data/void_recycler/data_maps/item/recycling_values.json: points per one item, before efficiencydata/void_recycler/data_maps/item/fabrication_prices.json: points per one fabricated item
{ "values": { "minecraft:iron_ingot": { "points": 100 }, "#minecraft:logs": 4 } }
{ "values": { "minecraft:diamond": { "cost": 5000 } } }
Tags: #void_recycler:never_recycle, #void_recycler:never_fabricate (admin blocks are already excluded).
Commands (game master): /voidrecycler validate finds price loops, /voidrecycler generate [markup] prices everything craftable that has no entry yet, points and owner for admin fixes.
The mod ships a small starter economy (a couple of dozen common items). For a full pack use generate and tune the result.
Compatibility and notes
- Minecraft 26.1.2, NeoForge 26.1.2.107 or newer, Java 25.
- JEI is optional (recycling and fabrication categories, drag an item onto the Target Slot). Jade is optional (balance, efficiency, owner on the tooltip).
- Install on both the server and the client.
- Report bugs and balance ideas in Issues.
