# Void Diggers

Void Diggers adds a sniffer-like creature that digs resources out of the ground for you. It was made for skyblock, where the ground is all you have.

## The creature

- Hatches from an egg and grows through **five stages**: Cub, Young, Adult, Mature and Ancient.
- Has **six hidden stats**: Smell, Dig Speed, Stamina, Growth, Luck and Fertility. Read them with the **Lens**.
- Works in cycles: it searches, digs and rests. Each dig drops loot that depends on the block it stands on and on its stage. Older stages unlock rarer items.
- The dug block is rarely used up (8% by default, configurable).
- Cubs and Young follow an adult. The voice changes with the stage.

Seeds, spores, acorns, pine cones and the like can be planted with right click.

## Breeding

Build a 3x3 **Digger Nest**, or let a ready digger build one by itself. Two Mature or Ancient diggers near a nest court each other and lay an egg. The cub inherits the average of its parents with a small mutation. A carrot makes the try always succeed.

- Creative command to give eggs with chosen stats: `/voiddigger egg`.
- Config for timers, chances, growth items and breeding item.
