Visiting Villagers-1.0.3-nf-1.21.1
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.0.3 (NeoForge, Minecraft 1.21.1)
Trading
- The trading screen now displays the visitor's name and profession simultaneously (e.g., "Steve | Lumberjack") once they have been named.
- Visitors will walk toward you to trade when you are holding an item of interest.
- Trade quantities per profile have been rebalanced: common visitors offer fewer trades at the first level, the standard visitor offers even fewer, and the Piglin Trader offers more trades.
- Spawn rates for rare profiles have been adjusted: the Piglin Trader is now rarer, while the Enchanter is more common than before.
Babies
- Babies now refuse trades by shaking their heads, just like vanilla baby villagers.
- Babies play with each other more often (about twice as many times in a row) and jump more frequently.
- Baby outfits have been redesigned.
- Some baby textures have become rarer: the standard texture is now the least common among the common ones, and rare textures appear even less frequently.
The Wanderer (the mod's traveling merchant)
- Leashed animals have changed: in plains, cave, and swamp biomes, the game now randomly selects 1 or 2 animals of the same species (pig, donkey, mule, or sheep)—previously, it was always sheep, foxes, or frogs.
- Pigs, donkeys, and mules now come saddled.
- Foxes have been replaced by two wolves.
- The two horses belonging to the "Master" Wanderer are now always black. New items
- New "Visitor Checker" item: when held, it displays a formatted report showing the number of nearby villagers, golems, visitors, babies, and wanderers; the chat version sends the summary directly to the chat.
- The checker report has been reorganized, featuring highlighted headings and numbers.
- Both the held item and the chat version now display the report as an on-screen overlay above the hotbar, rather than as chat messages.
Visuals and other changes
- Compatibility with the VillagerNames mod: visitors are now automatically assigned names, and the trading screen displays both the name and profession. It also works without this mod.
- The visitors' preferred POI tag has switched from the fletcher to the cleric: visitors now also seek out the cleric's cauldron.
- Visitors have reverted to using the standard in-game villager skin underneath their clothing (Pillagers and Piglin Merchants remain fully skinned), and babies follow the same base-plus-clothing logic.
- New mod configuration screen within the game's mod menu.
- New mod icon.
- Updated Russian and Ukrainian translations.
