Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Virtual Storage
- Expanded to store Mekanism items, fluids, and chemicals in independent categories.
- Added physical disks and custom type upgrades for each category.
- Maintained the progressive limit of up to 800 item types, with custom capacities for fluids and chemicals.
- Corrected the display of quantities: fluids and chemicals now correctly use mB, B, kB, and larger units.
- Improved integration with AE2, including channel usage, safe pause without power, and direct access via Pattern Encoder when applicable.
- Fixed the import of disks with many types into already populated storage.
- Incompatible or damaged disks are not consumed or modified.
- Disk tooltips now show capacity, number of types, stored resources, and their respective quantities.
## Storage Converter
- Created a secure system for universal storage discovery and conversion using public APIs.
- Added support for vanilla inventories, common and portable AE2 cells, Sophisticated Storage/Backpacks, Iron Chests, and compatible Create vaults.
- Infinite, ambiguous, or unverifiable sources are rejected without altering the original item.
- Conversion preserves source, content, capacity, progress, and power when closing the GUI, saving the world, or breaking the block.
- Packaging now distributes all stored types first and only then large quantities, reducing unnecessary partial disks.
- Added stackable quantity and speed upgrades, with recipes, persistence, and proportional consumption.
- Maintained the ratio of 1 FE for each unit of capacity effectively converted.
- Reorganized GUI, with a non-overlapping power bar and tooltip showing current power, capacity, and consumption.
## Pattern Organizer
- Added as the central Pattern Provider for the AE2 network, without needing to directly access the Assembly Core.
- Virtual patterns can be stored, published, and routed to Assembly Cores and compatible modules on the same network.
- Added individual selection of Cores and modules authorized to run each recipe.
- Stored patterns can be reconfigured with a right-click, without needing to remove them.
- Enlarged grid, scroll navigation, and vertical scroll bar.
- Locked slots are visually displayed, and expansions cannot be removed when additional spaces are in use.
- The Organizer no longer uses power and acts only as a logical network controller.
- GUI and model redesigned for a computer/pattern controller look and feel.
## Interface and visual identity
- Virtual Storage and Storage Converter GUIs have been reorganized to avoid overlapping text, buttons, slots, and bars.
- Removal buttons clearly identify items, fluids, and chemicals.
- Pattern Organizer received a new dark metal and glass model, maintaining the mod's technological identity.
- Old and new upgrades received sharper 64x64 textures and improved scaling in the hand, inventory, floor, and frames.
- Added a light visual animation to Assembly Core, running only on the client side.
## Manual and Translations
- The tutorial book has been completely reorganized.
- The old scattered pages have been consolidated into 16 short, progressive chapters.
- Added new cover, revamped interface, and internal illustrations.
- Updated content for Assembly Core, modules, Pattern Encoder, JEI, Pattern Organizer, Industrial Foregoing, Virtual Storage, Converter, disks, power, fluids, chemicals, multiplayer, and data recovery.
- English and Brazilian Portuguese translations revised and kept consistent.
## Security, Migration, and Compatibility
- Legacy data from disks and Virtual Storage has explicit migration.
- Import and conversion operations validate the result before consuming the source.
- Rejected items remain physically intact and display a recoverable cause.
- Chemical Storage has been marked as legacy: existing blocks remain registered and readable to preserve old worlds, but new recipes and acquisition via the creative tab have been disabled.
- Improved synchronization, persistence, data limits, and interoperability with AE2, NeoForge, Mekanism, and Applied Mekanistics.
## Validation
- Unit test suite approved.
- 30 GameTests of storage, conversion, persistence, AE2, and recovery successfully completed.
- Resources, translations, models, and JSON files validated in the final build.
