Hoppers can't normally be used with the wine racks and shelves from [Let's Do] Vinery: they won't put bottles in and won't take them out. This small add-on fixes that, so you can build automatic wine storage and sorting.
What works
Hoppers can fill and empty these blocks, and droppers can fill them:
| Block | Slots |
|---|---|
| Small Wine Bottle Storage (every wood type) | 4 |
| Wine Rack (every wood type) | 1, also takes large bottles |
| Big Wine Bottle Storage (every wood type) | 9 |
| Dark Cherry Shelf | 9 |
| Wine Box | 1 |
| Placed wine bottles | depends on the bottle |
| Flower Box | 2 |
| Big Flower Pot | 1 |
It follows Vinery's own rules
Everything behaves the way it does when you right-click by hand:
- One item per slot.
- Wine storage takes small bottles only. The single-slot Wine Rack also takes large bottles.
- Shelves take items, but not plain blocks.
- The Flower Box takes small flowers and the Big Flower Pot takes tall flowers.
- Placed bottles fill up in order and give up the last bottle first. The block disappears when its last bottle is taken.
Good to know
- Adds no blocks or items, so it is safe to drop into an existing world.
- Install it on the server. Players do not need it on their client.
- Vinery's cabinets, baskets, barrel and apple press already worked with hoppers and are not changed.
- Only hoppers, droppers & Create were tested. Other item-moving mods may work too, but that has not been tried.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge
- [Let's Do] Vinery (Forge), 1.4.x
Not affiliated with the Let's Do / Satisfy team. This is an independent add-on.
