villagertradeswap-neoforge-26.3-1.1.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.1.0 for Minecraft 26.3
First release for Minecraft 26.3.
New
- Server config is TOML: config/villagertradeswap-server.toml, with a comment for every option. A rerollCost from an old villagertradeswap.json is taken over automatically on the first start.
- rerollCurrency: pay for swaps with any item (also from other mods) instead of emeralds.
- allowSameTradeInLevel (default true): a level may hold two trades of the same kind as long as they differ, for example two books with different enchantments or two explorer maps to different structures. Set it to false for the one-of-each-kind rule.
- A swap never gives back the trade you just swapped away, and never a trade identical to another trade of the same villager.
- The button tooltip shows the price as "1× Emerald", "3× Diamond" or "Free", and a red "Not enough" line when you cannot pay.
Minecraft 26.x
- Minecraft 26.x needs Java 25.
- Villager trades are data driven since 26.1. Swaps roll from the villager's own trade set for that level, so trades for specific villager types, the Trade Rebalance experiment and trades added by datapacks or other mods are all included.
- Swapping does not touch the world's trade random sequences, so later level-ups and Villager Trade Peek previews roll exactly as without swapping.
- Swapped explorer maps are the new 26.3 map items.
- Worlds from Minecraft 26.2 open with the 26.3 jar of the same loader; swapped trades keep their levels.
Install the mod on both the client and the server.
