📖 About:
Verox' RPG Progression (formerly Unbound World) turns Minecraft into a Terraria-style progression game. The world starts Sealed - no Nether, no diamonds, no netherite, just you against the raw Overworld. Defeating specific bosses breaks the seal on a new tier at a time, unlocking items, blocks, ores, dimensions, structures, and stronger enemies to match.
It is the core of the Verox' RPG series, built to play alongside Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.
The Sealed World System
- World Stages: The whole world shares one progression track. Killing a stage's boss advances everyone at once - no grinding solo advancements.
- Sealed Everything: Items, tools, armor, functional blocks, and even ores can be locked behind a stage. A sealed sword won't swing. A sealed ore looks and breaks like plain stone until you've earned it.
- Sealed Bosses: Bosses are locked in turn - you can't skip ahead and cheese the Wither before you're supposed to reach him.
- Sealed Dimensions: The Nether and the End stay closed until the stage that grants access is cleared.
- Sealed Territories: Every stage claims its own structures. Enter one too early and the land itself turns against you - and nothing inside can be plundered until its boss has fallen.
Mod Features
- Full Vanilla Boss Progression: 5 ready-to-play stages out of the box - Evoker → Elder Guardian → Warden → Wither → Ender Dragon, each gating a real tier of the game (iron/gold → diamond → Nether access → netherite → the End).
- Hidden Ores: Locked ores render as stone, deepslate, or netherrack, mine like stone, and drop stone - until the world catches up. Purely visual and drop-based, the real block is never altered, so it works with any worldgen mod.
- Territories: Woodland Mansions, Ocean Monuments, Ancient Cities, Nether Fortresses, End Cities - each belongs to a stage. Sealed land slowly drains your life and tints your screen, protected structures can't be mined, built in or blown up, and a shimmering forcefield border shows exactly where a guarded lair begins.
- Escalating Threats: Hostile mobs get tougher as the world stage rises - health, damage, armor, or any other vanilla or modded attribute. Mobs inside territories get their own extra scaling, and bosses scale further with how many players are fighting them.
- Armed Enemies: From a certain stage onward, humanoid mobs start carrying real weapons and armor with enchantments - configurable per stage and mob group, and carried over into later stages automatically.
- Loot Bags: Bosses drop a loot bag for every nearby player, each rolled individually - no more racing for drops. Can be turned off in the config or for single mobs via a tag.
- Fully Data-Driven: Every stage - bosses, drops, locks, territories, scaling, equipment - is defined in simple JSON. Modpack authors can add, remove, or completely rebuild the progression without touching code. Works on dedicated servers out of the box.

The Progression Journal
Every player receives the Progression Journal on their first join - a real in-world book that tracks the whole journey. Open it with a right-click or the keybind (default K).
- Your Progress at a Glance: The current stage, how many seals have been broken, and every stage marked as cleared, current goal, or locked.
- Everything per Stage: Description, sealed dimensions and territories, the main boss and optional bosses, and every sealed item, block and ore - page by page.
- Boss Details: Where to find each boss and a full drop preview with chances and amounts.
- Never Lost: Crafted again from a Book, Red Dye and a Gold Ingot, and it builds itself from the loaded stage files - so it always matches your modpack's progression.

The Choice
Rush the Wither underprepared and get flattened, or take the world one seal at a time. RPG Progression doesn't hold your hand - it just makes sure you can't skip the line.

- Iron's Spell n' Spellbooks - integrated support for structures, spells and more...

📃 Upcoming Features (in Development):
The seals are only the beginning. Here's what's planned:
Verox' RPG Progression
- Biome Territories: Sealed biomes alongside sealed structures.
The Verox' RPG Series

- Verox' Swords n' Axes: Swordsman and Berserker specializations with weapon skills and armor sets.
