Veins and Deposits

Veins and Deposits adds four new ore families to the overworld, each with its own depth, vein size and rarity. Cobalt and Silver smelt down into full tool and armor sets; Sulfur and Cinnabar drop in bulk for crafting. 38 new blocks and items in total, all balanced against vanilla tiers so nothing feels out of place.

Ores

• Cobalt - deep and rare. Durable tools and armor, a step above iron.
• Silver - mid depth. Fast and highly enchantable, but wears out quickly.
• Sulfur - shallow and common. Drops 2-5 per vein.
• Cinnabar - deep. Drops 2-4 crystals per vein.

Every ore has a deepslate variant, a storage block and full Fortune support. Cobalt and Silver get raw ore blocks on top of that. Everything lives in its own creative tab, and the ores are tagged so other mods can see them.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Fabric Loader and Fabric API
• Required on both client and server. On multiplayer the server needs it too, or the ores will not generate.
