VC Admin - Voice Chat Moderation Tool

VC Admin is a lightweight server-side moderation tool for servers running Simple Voice Chat.

It gives server operators the ability to join password-protected voice chat groups without needing the password — designed specifically for server staff who need to monitor and moderate voice activity to keep their community safe.

TRANSPARENCY
This mod is fully transparent. When an admin joins a group, every member of that group receives a visible chat notification:

  [VC-Admin] Steve has joined the group 'private'.

There is no silent monitoring. Players always know when staff is present.

COMMANDS
All commands require OP level 2 or higher.

  /vclist        Lists all active voice groups. Locked groups show their password on hover and can be clicked to copy it to your clipboard.
  /vcjoin <name> Join a group by name, bypassing the password prompt.
  /vcleave       Leave the current voice group.

USE CASE
Servers with younger audiences or strict community guidelines need tools to ensure voice channels aren't being misused. Simple Voice Chat does not provide a built-in admin override for password-protected groups — this mod fills that gap.

INSTALLATION
  1. Install Simple Voice Chat on your server.
  2. Drop vcadmin into your server's mods/ folder.
  3. No client-side installation required.
  4. Restart your server.
