Tired of mining emeralds, only to realize they are only useful for villager trading? Fear no more-- Vanilla Toolsets (Toolsets) is here! This mod adds 4 sets of armor & tools based on vanilla materials. You'll finally want to pick up that emerald sitting at the bottom of your mine!
Recipes are the same as you would expect for any other tool/armor piece, although Lapis tools require Lapis Blocks instead of single Lapis pieces. Each can be repaired in an anvil with their respective parts.
The following items are added by this mod (Emerald, Obsidian, Lapis, & Quartz):
Vanilla Toolsets requires the Fabric Launcher and Fabric API to operate. It is required on both server and client. Send bug reports to the repo or my PM box; whichever is most convenient for you. Have a recommendation for another set of armor? Comment it down below!
Faithful users: check out SrBedrock's Vanilla Toolsets resource pack!
Bone armor would be pretty cool, cuz it's spooktober!
Also maybe prismarine set?
I'd really need this on forge and this is the only one available for 1.14.4!

I don't know if you still need it but I have it for Forge. It's not this version with armor but I have a few materials and tools available in my mod (maybe it's not available yet).
Sorry if I'm not allowed to say this here but I thought this could be useful for leon.
In reply to MelanX:
Looking forward to checking it out once the project is approved!~
In reply to Draylar1:
I ported your mod to Forge right now :) ~30min work :D have fun with this PR :)
In reply to MelanX:
Very cool, great work! I can't manage or upload the port, simply because:
- I will be responsible for fixing it as soon as anything breaks
- I know essentially nothing about Forge
If you'd like to upload it to a separate CurseForge project page, you're more than welcome to. I could also link to it from this page! I can certainly keep the PR and simply mention it as a "build it yourself," option on request, and in that case, I would merge it under a separate forge 1.14 branch in the main repository. Any thoughts?
In reply to Draylar1:
I don't want to upload it for myself on CurseForge.
I would try to port your fixes as soon as possible if you would upload it here. But you can do it on GitHub, too. You could also release a release on GitHub under "releases" (too much "release" xD). If you have Discord we could find a better solution in DMs.

Thanks for the mod!
In reply to leonpeonleon:
And thank you for playing it! :)
hello, i'm having an issue with the mod D:
it'a nothing too complex, but i can't seem to craft any of the weapons, tools or armour from this mod. there's no trouble with loading them, they all appear in the creative menu and work just fine, i just can't craft them manually or with the recipe book.
please help, i really enjoy this mod!!
In reply to EriisAU:
Do you have Fabric API installed? I would need to see the game log (you can upload it to pastebin) to help more.
In reply to EriisAU:
I am having the same issue. And i have the API installed.
How do the stats compare to vanilla armors/tools?
I know this sound strange, but could you make alternative versions containing different stats for each material (For example, one version could have Obsidian Armour as the strongest, whilst another could have Emerald Armour as the strongest) or just with one type of material (For example, just have Emerald Armour and tools included, with the other materials not included)
The reason being is that I can't find any Emerald Tools & Armour mods that give Emerald superior stats to Diamond and I have no idea how to mod with Fabric
In reply to thomasthehedgehog88:
How about I just add a config file so you can tweak it yourself? I'll add an issue on it and hopefully get it out in the next few days.
In reply to Draylar1:
That'd be great! Thank you ever so much!
Hopefully, it won't cause you too much trouble!
whens a forge version coming?
In reply to Iceentei547_:
never
In reply to Draylar1:
Why never?
In reply to isseitomok:
I don't use/develop on Forge.
