• Active Realm Rifts have a violet beam for their full lifetime.
• Nearby players see compass direction and horizontal distance.
• Chat announcements include clickable coordinates; /rift checks the current location.
• Markers clear when rifts close or fade. Existing safe distances and optional activation remain.

All 25 integration tests passed, including compass directions, rift marker lifecycle, wildlife spawn tables, death inventory and trash handling. Client update recommended for the violet beam and automatic direction hint. The /rift command and chat coordinates work for compatible older clients.

Echoes of the Aether is now Valestia. Internal registry IDs remain unchanged for compatibility. This is the standalone mod; the complete Valestia RPG modpack is a separate download. Back up existing saves before updating.
