Unusual Prehistory

Unusual Prehistory is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that adds ways to revive a variety of prehistoric creatures and plants and various ways to use them.

To begin your journey to resurrect prehistoric plants and animals, you need to find fossils found throughout the world. Fossils come in many varieties, stone fossils yield Mesozoic fossils while deepslate fossils yield Paleozoic fossils, there are many other types of fossils to be found as well. 

Once you have fossils you will need an analyzer to extract DNA from them, and from there you can use a cultivator to create eggs, embryos, or plants using the DNA and organic ooze as fuel. Every prehistoric creature and plant has something to offer, whether it be useful items or simple ambience. You can learn more about them and the rest of the mod through the Encyclopedia of Prehistory, which you can craft with any fossil and a book.
