There are two types of geese spawning in the world.

Geese don't like pillagers and pillagers don't like geese. Similar to how cats scare away creepers, geese will scare the illagers away.

Once you tamed geese using kelp or seagrass you can sit them down or let them fight for you similar to dogs.
