EFR-R 3.0.0 — Initial Beta Changelog
Et Futurum Requiem Reforged | Minecraft 1.7.10
This is one of the largest content expansions to EFR-R yet, bringing modern Minecraft features from versions 1.8 through 1.21.11 to Minecraft 1.7.10.
The update introduces dozens of mobs, modern biomes, new structures, equipment, building materials and survival mechanics. Many features have been adapted to work with Minecraft 1.7.10's original engine.
This is an experimental beta release. While initial testing has successfully reached normal gameplay without crashes, several rendering, spawning, world-generation and interaction issues remain.

Known Issues — Initial Beta
The following issues were identified during initial gameplay testing and remain unverified as fixed in this release.
Rendering and Textures
- Sculk Shriekers and Trial Spawners have broken models or transparency, sometimes allowing the world behind or underneath them to appear incorrectly.
- Turtle Eggs have broken in-world models.
- Some village doors render incorrectly, with portions of the door appearing invisible.
- Pitcher Plants have missing textures and cannot currently be placed correctly.
- Crossbows display their loading states but do not render correctly when held.
- Other newly introduced irregular or transparent blocks may have similar rendering issues.
Mob Spawning and AI
- Aquatic mob spawning is currently severely unbalanced. Fish and other aquatic mobs may spawn in excessive numbers, alongside Minecraft 1.7.10's existing squid overpopulation behavior.
- Drowned currently spawn during daytime, rather than following the intended nighttime surface-spawning restrictions.
- Mob spawn rates and population limits require further testing and balancing.
- Some advanced mob behavior and animations remain simplified compared to modern Minecraft.
World Generation
- Modern biome distribution may be incorrectly weighted. Initial exploration showed a heavy concentration of traditional biomes compared to newer additions.
- Cherry trees have been observed generating in ordinary hills biomes, potentially outside their intended biome restrictions.
- Modern Nether biomes have not yet been confirmed through gameplay testing.
- Ice Spikes and Meadow generation have been observed successfully, but broader biome and structure generation still requires validation.
- Pillager Outposts currently use simplified structures compared to modern vanilla Minecraft.
Blocks, Items and Crafting
- Netherite equipment upgrade recipes are currently missing or not correctly registered.
- Seagrass can incorrectly be placed on top of itself.
- Copper Chests lack their opening sound.
- Additional modern blocks may have missing or incorrect placement, breaking and interaction sounds.
- Some newly implemented content may have incomplete placement rules, interactions or survival progression.
Beta Limitations
Some mechanics have been adapted rather than fully recreated due to Minecraft 1.7.10's engine limitations.
- Full modern Trial Chambers are not implemented; selected dungeons provide adapted encounters.
- Modern swimming, waterlogging, world-height expansion and the modern cave-generation engine are not included.
- Certain advanced mob navigation, animations and combat interactions differ from newer Minecraft versions.
- Existing worlds are not automatically regenerated to include newly added biomes or structures.
World backup recommended before testing. New content is still undergoing gameplay validation, and issues beyond those listed may be present.
This beta focuses on establishing broad modern vanilla content coverage in Minecraft 1.7.10. Future updates will prioritize correcting rendering defects, balancing spawning, validating biome generation and completing missing interactions before expanding support to other Minecraft versions.
