Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.2.0 — Downhill Flow Corrections
Fixed and improved
- Updated compatibility for Streams Reflowing 2.15.2.
- Added runtime flow correction using actual connected water and nearby lower outlets, helping streams follow downhill routes and river bends.
- Extended direction correction to stream blocks, ordinary water currents, boat movement, and surface particles.
- Prevented conflicting direction calculations between the native UltraTerraForged adapter and Streams’ generic TerraForged handling.
- Added still-water handling for detected uphill sections without a suitable downhill outlet.
- Improved cache handling and bounded water searches. Correction only checks loaded chunks and does not force additional chunks to load.
- Preserved manual flow directions and Stillwater Anchor effects when Streams Flow Control is installed.
Configuration and diagnostics
- Added
correctActualWaterFlow, enabled by default. - Added
actualWaterScanRadius, defaulting to 16 blocks, configurable from 4–32. - Added
/utfstreams inspectto inspect the current water block and its final flow direction. - Expanded
/utfstreams statuswith runtime correction statistics.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.219+, within the 21.1 series
- UltraTerraForged 1.0.2+1.21.1
- Streams Reflowing 2.15.2
- Java 21
Replace the previous compatibility JAR on both client and server, then restart. Existing rivers can benefit without generating a new world.
Beta note: Large flat stretches or routes beyond the configured search range may retain their original direction. This update corrects currents; it does not repair river terrain or disconnected waterways.
