Truth Tag

Truth Tag is a client-side mod that shows every mob's real name and health above its head.
Ever mistake a Pillager for a Villager? Not anymore.
Truth Tag always shows the real name of every living mob plus its health right above its head.
Wild mobs: Slime ❤️ 16 / 16 - white name, red heart, health colored green/yellow/red
Nametagged mobs: Respects your custom name - Jeff ❤️ 16 / 16
Players: Ignored, won't clutter PvP
Does it work on servers?
Yes. This is 100% client-side. Install it on YOUR computer and you will see tags in singleplayer, on LAN worlds, and on ANY multiplayer server - even if the server is completely vanilla and doesn't have the mod.
The server does not need to install it.
Compatible with Villagers Have Names.
