TRMT: Reimagined (The Roads More Travelled)

Ground wears into paths where you actually walk and grows back when you stop. Nothing is ever written into the world. Built for packs with hundreds of mods, where every block wears in its own colors. The Roads More Travelled: Reimagined.

TRMT Reimagined 0.9.218 - Minecraft 1.7.10, Forge

Needs UniMixins. Nothing inside this jar declares it, so it is the one to remember if you are assembling a pack by hand; GT: New Horizons already ships it. Forge 10.13.4.1614 or newer, Java 8. Install on the server and on every client.

Worn grass draws correctly under OptiFine. This is the one change in this release and the reason to take it if you play with OptiFine, which on this version is most people. The side of a worn grass block came out an even olive green without the thin green fringe along its top edge, where plain 1.7.10 and Angelica draw brown earth with that strip over it - and it had been that way in every release.

Both halves of a grass side, the untinted earth and the tinted fringe laid over it, are decided inside the renderer. Vanilla recognises grass by name; OptiFine compares against vanilla's own block and vanilla's own texture, object for object, and this mod was answering the first comparison in one of three places and the second not at all. It answers both now, everywhere OptiFine asks - and never where Better Grass asks, so a worn wall keeps its earth with Better Grass on.

The top of a worn square is unchanged - same wear, same biome tint. Only the sides, and only under OptiFine.
