Tribal Power 5.5.0 - The Ley Heart
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Tribal Power 5.5.0 - The Ley Heart
A six-totem heart that sings thousands of Pulse a second and raises its own ley lines, Spiritgear that spends Pulse instead of its edge, and a Hearth Pot that cares where you put things.
- The Ley Heart. Stand the heart on a 3 by 3 dais of Anchor Stones and raise one Resonance Totem of each voice five blocks out around it. Complete, it burns Resonator crystals, creature reagents and water, makes from about 1,100 to 4,500 Pulse a second, and raises six real ley lines from its centre out through the totems, 64 blocks long. The Ley Lens shows them and Ley Collectors along them grow stronger. Break any piece and the lines fall.
- Reagent Threads. A reagent shed or dropped by a creature of strong bloodline, or by an elite, carries a Thread from I to III. Threaded reagents are the Ley Heart's best fuel; the tooltip says what each is worth.
- Spiritgear spends Pulse, not its edge. A tool, weapon or bow that pays for an action in Pulse takes no wear at all; only a starved action wears it. Tools last their true 1,561 uses (shears, rattle and bows 1,024), and every piece mends with Manifested Ingots on any anvil, never diamonds.
- Verse arrows carry their verse. Lay a verse on the Song Bench and fletch it: each copy of the lead reagent adds a point, up to 3, from the bow or the crossbow.
- Fairer blessings and armour. The Loom blessing returns its full tenth (a fifth at level II) even on small spends. Spiritweave switched Off, or with a dry cell, stops every perk, and an unpaid Lantern charm stops stretching blessings.
- The Hearth Pot reads its square. Each ingredient goes in the seat the recipe shows, top left to bottom right. Hoppers seat ingredients where a meal wants them and bowls in the bowl seat.
- Fish and Chips. Two Raw Glimmerfin over two Emberroot: the most filling meal in camp, with no gift beside it.
- Water creatures swim. Silt Gliders, Pale Drifters and Shoal Darters swim like fish and now really spawn; Brine Lurkers and Drowned Shades follow prey onto the bank.
- Tide Pump. It draws water from the block below, keeps its own tank, and works with fluid relay plates.
- Camp devices. Relay plates work on every device that holds goods. The Grove Tender cuts pumpkins and melons and tends any tagged crop, the Hush Totem turns phantoms away, the Ward Drum leaves bosses alone, and the Summoning Cradle binds any vanilla animal or monster.
- Fixes. The Listening Pit's cache no longer feeds ore back into the mesh, and the Seal Loom no longer stalls or spills its leftovers.
- Laser level. The Builder's Chalk gains a laser level: one straight, level line out from the mark the way you face, 64, 128 or 256 blocks long, for walls, roads and tunnels.
- Four creative tabs. Tribal Power, Gear & Magic, Hearth & Bestiary and The March, so JEI and EMI list the mod in order.
- The Codex gains Bestiary, Rites, Songs and Travel chapters, a merged Familiars chapter, and pages for everything above.
