Description

TradeSeeker

TradeSeeker makes finding and managing villager trades faster without replacing the normal Minecraft trading screen.

Select the enchantment you want, set a maximum emerald price, and let TradeSeeker reroll the villager until it finds a matching trade.

For creative worlds and server administration, TradeSeeker also includes tools for directly editing and managing villagers.

Features

- Search for specific villager enchantments
- Automatically reroll trades until the selected enchantment is found
- Set a maximum emerald price for automatic rerolling
- Browse available max-level enchantments and their possible emerald price ranges
- Works directly inside the normal villager trading screen
- Scrollable enchantment selector with item icons
- Responsive UI for different resolutions and GUI scales
- Uses vanilla-style UI elements and item icons
- Resource packs can override the vanilla icons normally

Automatic Trade Searching

Choose the enchantment you want from the dropdown and optionally set the maximum number of emeralds you are willing to pay.

Enable Auto and TradeSeeker will reroll the villager until it finds a matching trade.

The Max Enchantments panel also shows the possible emerald price range for each max-level enchantment, making it easier to decide what price to search for.

Admin Tools

When using the admin tools, TradeSeeker gives you additional control over the selected villager.

You can:

- Change the villager profession
- Set the selected trade directly
- Change the villager level
- Zombify and cure the villager
- Reset the villager
- Set an exact emerald price for a trade

The profession icon updates dynamically using the villager profession's vanilla workstation item.

Admin controls are designed for creative worlds, testing, and server administration while the normal trade searching tools remain available for regular gameplay.

Interface

TradeSeeker extends Minecraft's existing villager screen instead of replacing it with a completely separate menu.

The interface automatically adapts to different resolutions and GUI scales, and long labels can smoothly scroll when hovered instead of being cut off.

Vanilla item rendering is used where possible so resource packs continue to affect the interface naturally.

Requirements

- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric
- Fabric API
- Java 25
- Installed on both client and server for multiplayer

Compatibility

TradeSeeker is designed around vanilla villagers and the vanilla trading system.

Mods that heavily replace villager trading, professions, or merchant screens may conflict with TradeSeeker.

I build mods for my own playthroughs, fixing and updating them as I use them. I share them because I think they can be useful to others too. A shared custom UI/framework for my mods is in the works.
