Understand your offers before you trade.

TradeCompare adds small comparison indicators to the normal villager trading screen. It uses the prices currently available in that screen and compares only offers with equivalent items and item properties.

Useful information, careful comparisons

• See the input cost per output item, including offers producing multiple items.
• Identify a cheaper equivalent offer or equally efficient offers tied for best value.
• Compare two-ingredient offers conservatively: one offer must use no more of either ingredient and less of at least one to be strictly better.
• Keep exhausted offers clearly unavailable and outside the available-best comparison.
• Hover the small indicator or the empty edge of an offer row for compact details.

Different items and different enchantments are not assigned an invented shared value. Offers with conflicting ingredient costs remain neutral.

A compact trading companion

Indicators stay beside the offer icons. When there is enough space, small efficiency labels appear beside the trading screen. On narrow layouts, hover the indicator for the details.
