TOTAL WARFARE
Guided Missiles, Military Vehicles & Air Defense
Build Your defenses
Total Warfare brings missile combat, drivable military trucks, radar systems, and automated defense networks to the modding community! Program strikes, move your stuff into position, and build overlapping layers of defenses around your base.
Detailed 3D models using GLTF bring each system to life through animated launchers, rotating radars, rolling wheels, glowing tracers, smoke trails, and launch effects.
Offensive Launchers & Missiles
Choose from the Exocet MM40 Block 3, P-800 Yakhont, C-802, C-705, and Tetral Mistral. Their flight speeds, warhead strengths, and resistance to C-RAM fire differ, giving each missile a distinct role.
The stationary Offensive Missile Launcher holds eight missiles with individually programmable target coordinates. Load missiles, open the controls with an empty hand, and power the launcher with redstone to begin its launch sequence.
Launcher Targeting Binoculars let you designate a visible target for a linked offensive launcher. Missiles require a compatible launcher; missile items cannot be fired directly from the ground, duh.
Drivable Military Vehicles
Shaanxi SX2190 Nuclear Missile Truck! Drive a mobile launcher into position, program a target, and raise the launch rail. Its large nuclear missile can be crafted separately to reload the truck and is much harder for defense interceptors to destroy.
Renault TRM Radar Truck! Move radar coverage wherever it is needed. The truck scans a 576-block radius and connects to your defense network. Radar and command controls are accessed through the physical console on the side of the vehicle.
Layered Air Defense
Combine missile interceptors with close-range gun defense. Each system has its own engagement range, firing rate, ammunition capacity, and interception reliability.
| System | Range | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Defense Missile Launcher / SeaRAM | 288 blocks | Short range missile interception with a rotating launcher. |
| MK-4B Arbiter | 480 blocks | Medium range defense with 13 active missile tubes. |
| MIM-104 Patriot | Approximately 749 blocks | Long range interception from a fixed launcher. |
| Centurion C-RAM | 160 blocks | Last line of defense that uses sustained bursts of bullets hell. |
Linked missile launchers favor the shortest range available system that can reach a threat, preserving longer range defenses for other targets.
Linked C-RAMs distribute targets between turrets and ignore friendly missiles in their network. Their shots have spread and require multiple hits; interception is never guaranteed.
Defense launchers use crafted Defense Interceptor Missiles for reloading, while C-RAM uses 600-round Ammunition Boxes.
Radar Networks & Command Map
The stationary Defense Radar scans a 1,024-block radius. The mobile Renault radar provides a 576-block radius. Detection and defense coverage use horizontal distance, so missiles remain detectable and engageable at high altitude.
Use the Defense System Link to connect equipment into a coordinated network. Shared targeting helps spread engagements across incoming threats instead of wasting every defender on the same missile.
Place the ISD Bridge Console to control linked systems from a command station. Its tactical map integrates with Xaero's World Map to display system positions, coverage circles, and tracked missile markers. Check ammunition and operating status, switch individual systems into standby, or disable the linked network together.
Survival Crafting
Crafting recipes cover the launchers, radars, trucks, command console, missiles, defense ammunition, C-RAM ammunition boxes, network link, and targeting binoculars. Build your equipment, supply its ammunition, and expand your coverage as your base grows.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.x.
- glTF Renderer API 1.0.0-beta.5 or newer on the client.
- Xaero's World Map 1.46.0 or newer on the client, required for the command map.
