# TorchFuel (Burnout)
**TorchFuel** is a lightweight, immersive Vanilla+ hardcore mod that reworks the lighting mechanics in Minecraft. Torches are no longer eternal magic blocks—they now realistically burn out over time, forcing players to manage their infrastructure and step out of their comfort zone.
### 🌓 Key Features:
* **Fading Torches:** Standard torches gradually burn out over the course of **2 in-game days**. An extinguished torch turns into an unlit variant block.
* **Easy Refueling:** No need to break and replace blocks. Simply right-click an extinguished torch with **Coal** or **Charcoal** to reignite it on the spot.
* **True Darkness:** Caves and nights become a terrifying survival challenge. Exploration requires strategy and a steady supply of fuel.
### ⚙️ Configuration:
Every parameter—including the exact burn time for torches—can be easily customized in the mod's configuration file to perfectly fit any hardcore or vanilla-focused modpack.
