Overview
Instead of physically walking trade routes, you manage an **abstract caravan**: it travels a route you pick on a map, reports its position, blocks remaining, ETA and danger level, and brings profit home when it returns. Destinations deplete over time, so you must rotate routes to keep income flowing.
## Features
- **Home Camp block** — the base of your caravan. Right-click it with a **Trade Contract** to form a caravan.
- **Caravan crew** — 1 librarian villager + 1 unemployed villager (drover) + 2 llamas to start. Grows up to **10 villagers and 4 llamas**.
- **Caravan Map item** — opens a parchment map with discovered points (village, bandit camp, hermit cave, ruins, port), each with a distinct icon and a color showing its remaining stock.
- **Route trading** — send the caravan to a point, it travels, arrives, and returns home with profit into the camp chest.
- **Random road events** — trader meetings, delays, stray dogs, lost crates, passengers, scares and more.
- **Bandit ambushes** — bandits can strike en route; defend the caravan or lose part of the cargo and crew morale.
- **Treasury & upgrades** — the caravan has its own emerald treasury. Buy upgrades: Llama Training, Meat Feed, Capacity, Trade Training, Haggling, Fighter Drill, Vigil, Comfort.
- **Growing visuals** — the caravan art on the map and in the camp screen grows richer as you buy upgrades.
- **Full localization** — English and Russian out of the box.
## How to start
1. Craft / obtain a **Home Camp** block and place it.
2. Gather near the camp: **1 librarian villager**, **1 villager without a profession**, and **2 llamas** (within 16 blocks).
3. Right-click the camp block with a **Trade Contract** to form the caravan. You receive a **Caravan Map**.
4. Open the map, discover points, select a destination and press **Send caravan**.
5. Right-click the camp block again to open the **Home Camp screen** (crew, treasury, upgrades).
Compatibility
Optionally integrates with **Random Encounters** (same author) for shared world events, but works fully standalone — no other mods required.

## Roadmap / Plans
This is a prototype. Planned improvements include: more point types, deeper economy and balance tuning, richer pixel-art visuals, more road events, and additional upgrades. Subject to change based on feedback.
